You have to keep in mind that these two losses came within like 30 days of one another. Definitely not enough time to improve the holes that were shown in his fight with Brunson. He can still fix that and come back better.

Gastelum, Whittaker, and Brunson haven't shown any recent improvements. Just because they're beating lower ranked guys now instead of losing to top guys doesn't mean he's improved. Gastelum's signature left hand was totally absent from his previous fight, to the point where I thought his arm was injured during the fight. Brunson is still serving his role as the gatekeeper, beating Holland is just more proof of that.

So hilarious that sherdoggers actually think beating unproven Holland has magically turned Brunson into a top guy LOL. And apparently losing to the LHW champ makes you a bum middleweight.

Are you serious? Holland lost to two top 5 middleweight veterans that he slapped up on the feet. Khamzat is a welterweight and while im sure he could wrangle Holland down a time or two, theres no guarantee he ever gets close to him. They both had to muscle him quite a bit to get him where they want him. Ive watched all of Khamzats fights and Im pretty high on his upside but theres no evidence to back this claim.
