Now you're cheering on the President and his flunkies going after their political enemies. Pathetic.

ITT, Left-leaning posters suddenly have little regard for Mueller’s findings. Mueller’s findings not only exonerate Trump of the principal allegations against him (“no evidence” of “collusion” with Russia), but they suggest that the entire investigation should never have been launched.

But you got your Special Counsel investigation anyway, despite the fact that there was “no evidence” to support it. Now that the investigation is through, you must accept its findings. YOU WANTED IT, YOU GOT IT BABY.
We don't have Mueller's findings yet. We have about two quoted sentences. Congress will now take over and determine if an impeachment is in order.

Do you have the courage to stand by your convictions and pledge to donate money to the Trump organization's legal defence fund? I will FREELY ADMIT that I thought that the investigation would be more hard hitting than what has happened.

That being said, I've always held the opinion that President Trump would escape unscathed whilst he held the office of POTUS.
Check my posts.
When he leaves office, the SDNY WILL unleash the hounds and no one will step up to save him...

"Because he's not President anymore and "we've" (his current GOP suck-ups) gotten what we wanted out of him."

Already with SDNY bullshit. First it's Mueller, now it SDNY. They'll get their shit pushed in going after POTUS, even if he's ex-POTUS, though odds don't favor him losing.

Hey, at least you’re here facing the storm. You and Lowman are pretty much the only people the Left owning this one. The rest of ‘em are hiding away until the next news cycle.

And what am I? Chopped liver?!?

:)

The public needs to know precisely what happened, and what all the facts are.
I don't see any scenario where this doesn't happen. Do you? Barr has put his entire reputation on the line so this may be a protracted fight over full release of the documents. In the end, the judiciary committee (s) will get everything.

Did you really miss the point?

Obstruction of Justice on what crime?
There doesn't need to be a crime for obstruction. Just an investigation. Let's say my friend is accused of murder, and I tamper with the witness.

It doesn't matter if my friend is later found innocent, i still obstructed. Also it doesn't need to be me that is charged for me to obstruct justice.

Trump not being implicated in collusion does make it harder to prove corrupt intent, but it doesn't make obstruction go away. Otherwise Mueller wouldn't have said "‘difficult issues’ of law and fact concerned whether the President’s actions and intent could be viewed as obstruction.” when he punted to Barr.

I don't expect him to get convicted of obstruction because of the above and the fact most of it is probably tied to constitutional powers, but I'd still like to see what facts Mueller laid out on either side if there was enough he decided to punt instead of make a decision like he did on collusion.

I've been saying that the Trump Org. will NOT survive the rectal exam that the SDNY will ream into it. C'mon man... Real estate? In New York? And he's 100% squeaky clean?

Get outta here with that.

The SDNY is under the DOJ. I think Barr should squash those investigations to save the department from further embarrassment.

A more appropriate analogy would be your friend is accused of murder, then it turns out that no one actually got murdered.

What's to stop Trump form declaring congressional investigations into his administration to be a National Emergency to subvert Democracy?

They haven't turned over dick to congress yet. They're going to stonewall everything, and Barr is fully on board with shielding Trump from any scrutiny.

Theory of the Unitary Executive. I'm going to repeat it until people actually learn about what we're looking at here.

Really?
That's crazy. If there's some "there" there, then it should be investigated. Embarrassment shouldn't be a factor when it comes to meting out justice.

AKA: Obstruction of Justice by the Attorney General at the behest of the President of the United States. If the President cannot obstruct justice, how can he ever be found guilty of any wrongdoing?

Yes, use political power to squash any more investigations into Trump. <45>

It's the FBInvestigation, not FBProsecutors. Is Barr beyond reproach? Maybe. We still need Congress to sift through the evidence that was collected to determine how they will proceed.
