Non steroid alternatives (ostarine mk2866 talk)

I'd suggest your bottle might have been something it shouldn't. There is no reason for osta to illicit gyno.

It was receptorchem, never had an issue before or since with other SARM's etc........ We really don't all respond the same and for the large majority I never really heard of it being an issue for others with Osta.......

I wasn't on anything else, just Osta....... It's either just me or it was some pro hormone crap....

Ok, yeah, I trust receptor chem. You might want to get checked out, my buddy had a weird experience on it where it made him feel wrong, twice. After going to doc, turns out he has small balls from yearsyof cycling, his pituitary gland was picking up the slack causing issues.

I just posted saw what?

Check just after your question, my response is there.
sorry I though I sent this as well but dunno if it did

'@Phlog you also said you trained twice a day? how many sets per muscle group did you do per week? double than usual? EG for chest I do 20 sets rn, should I be aiming for 40??'

I had full blood work done about a month after the Osta..... No issues found, my balls are on the large side and I have plenty Clomifene etc to do a PCT...... But I get your point..... Not had any other issues including the SARM stack I'm on at a moment.

When I train twice a day what that means is that I'll do my main lift and little else early on and then hit all my accessory exercise later on. I felt this allowed for greater recovery and thus an ability to push a little harder. I expect it fly's counter to evidence based advice.

I would do your standard sets and see how many you can bash out after you reach your rep goal. Just allow for the greater volume you'll be able to do to happen.

Would also recommend trying to stick to the standard rep schemes 3-6 for strength, 10-12 for hypertrophy, just up the weight to make it work.

Really it's just a matter of training hard and if you feel you can do more, do more. Watch your diet, do cardio and you'll get shredded.

Re number of sets, I run juggernaut, so for 3 weeks lift sets of 10, then 8,5,3. Just depends where I'm at in my training.

@Phlog @Contempt did you guys keep your gains after stopping? and do you think 4 weeks is too little time to take off cycle after 8 weeks on?

Yep, I did do three cycles/bottles at six weeks on, six weeks off at 25mg day.

I put on about 20lb but training left a lot to be desired as my job is pretty full on and requires a lot of travel which screws with your routine. I'd say, definitely worth it.

only found mk677 to be of any use , its the only one worth paying for.

I had a bad experience last time (first time) at 25mg per day (flu-like symptoms, lethargy etc). The research I've seen was for 1mg and 3mg per day with significant results so I'm trying again at a lower dose of around 6-10mg per day (0.25-0.3ml). Will let you know how it goes.
What was your experience?

Tried it for the second time and had to stop. Hard to say if it's the cause but I've never had a positive result. Might give it one more shot since I've got a near-full bottle.
Why did you have to stop this time (If we may ask)?
I just placed an order so I guess we're going to give this a try. I will update once I get started on it.

Said it before but get checked up, my friend had an adverse flu like reaction and it led to him being diagnosed with a long term condition, possibly brought on by his cycling, SMALL BALLS! As a result his pituitary gland was working overtime and this got shown up by the osta.

Now he's on TRT.

I'm a little late to the party..this is the first I've heard of mk677. I had friends that used pro hormones back in the day with great results. Is this considered a pro hormone? Are the results similar to real juice? How about side effects?

It's a growth hormone secretagogue, so it stimulates release of what you've got. Not a pro hormone. No sides and can take all year. Like mild growth hormone.

No sides and can take all year.

I wouldn't necessarily say that. Since it's a ghrelin mimetic you really need to watch out for elevated blood glucose levels since it'll inhibit the release of insulin. Ghrelin also has an inhibitory effect on GnRH, so there actually may be some test suppression/fertility issues. And if you're taking a high enough dose you'll have a decent spike in IGF-1, so if you've got cancer in your family history you might wanna think twice.

With that said, I still think the benefits outweigh the cons. Took it for about 4 months. My hunger has really waned over the past 3 years or so due to various medications I've had to take so the uptick in appetite was really nice.

Thanks for the heads up, great info. Couldn't take in the morning tho because of that hunger. It was like being 16 again.

From what I read running it at 25mg a day for a year didn't seem to be an issue, worth the risk anyway, like you say, if you don't have a history of cancer. I didn't realise about the blood glucose!

Felt depressed, lack of energy. But I had a few things going on so like I said, hard to pinpoint the cause.

Still got a nearly full bottle so I'll probably try again!

I've never done any roids or hormones, I'm middle-aged and don't really work out.

One reason I tried the second time was because I broke a collarbone and rib a few months ago and thought it might help with recovery and to slow muscle loss due to inactivity.

For anyone who has cycled roids and also tried this product how do they compare? Is it an obvious advantage over say protein/ creatine?

I have no issues with my appetite...quite the opposite actually. I'm looking for somthing that promotes and speeds up muscle growth.

Well, I'm already depressed and lacking energy. So here's hoping I live in opposite land :-)
