Im just trying to do alot of total volume, and hopefully it will lead to some gains at the end.

Pretty much my "programming": just keep throwing work/effort in and hope it will eventually pay off.

Submaximal volume make a lot of sense. You don't have to get "up" for the lifts and doing loads of work in that 75%-90% range of strength adds up.
 
Yup, thats the point. Its hard, but not as intense, as you never go to near max.
