Tried some heavy deadlifts today
got up 220, and thought of trying 230, but no fucking way I would of gotten it.
tried some benching, and did a hard rep at 120.
So it feels like ive wasted 5 months of training and havent gotten a single kilo out of the two lifts I wanted to progress at.
Lifting sucks.

The next time you do a heavy deadlift session, throw up a video. We'll take a look.

Going to do some "ME lifts" like snatch, deficit and sumo deadlift the next month or so.

Form note: Not feeling good lately, which is weird. Not really busy at school, had a great vacation and deload last week. Been bleeding from my nose every day, and I got a pink eye, so I take some antibiotics, but that shouldnt interfere at all. should be good in a day or so.
Might take out the creatine, it usually doesnt work great for me. But sometimes it has an small effect. Hell, even if its only placebo, it will help my confidence in lifting.

Yes, I plan on dropping the max a little. The problem has been me being so insanly sore.

Plan is to squat 200+ in a month or so, then do smolov for squats :eek: going to get that 500 before the year is over, mark my words-

I'll just have my feet on the ground, I just can't push off at all for obvious reasons, probably won't be able to for at least a month

You never know, you might respond well to SJ, just eat a lot :D
