Kinda sad, he was one of the saner heads in this administration. I think it goes without saying that there might be a good chance he picks a warhungry neo-con. Let's hope that's not the case.
Sorry for not exactly making a riveting opening post, but it's pretty breaking news that another important role in the state department was not concluded to its full term length. I think more people have quit, resigned, retired (or got fired) by this administration than when Boris Jeltzin was president in post Soviet Russia.
