No longer a fan of aldo

Khabib is the best fighter willing and able to fight Conor - and the only option if they make it for an interim belt - as his last win was over the champ.

It's a "fucken dumb" option for Conor, certainly, as it's a very dangerous matchup for him. But if the UFC is going to force a fight and pretend it's legitimate - Khabib is as good an option as any.

Yeah right, that's why UFC isn't even considering it, right? because its a good an option as any... you're wrong.

Aldo talked crap before the Connor fight saying he was gonna kill him, then goes in and gets blasted in 13 seconds. Then he says he wants a rematch anytime anywhere, and that he will kill Connor in a rematch. After not getting the rematch, he whines and complains about everything, and says he deserved it, and he won't take any other fights besides Connor. Then he gets offered the rematch and turns it down. How can anyone still be a fan after that?

Dana ripped on Aldo and Frankie, and rightfully so. Opportunity of a lifetime for two guys screaming for this fight and saying that they'll stay ready, and now the opportunity arises and neither of them take it.

I wonder how the heck someone can be a fan of him. Dude is boring as fuck and doesn't fight.

Aldo is done like the rest of the brazillians in mixfight.

Haven't liked Aldo for a long time and glad others are beginning to see the light. And it's not just that he turned it down. It's how he talked shit about how he was preparing for this fight just in case...
Unfortunately, i agree with this post. Is this confirmed that he declined?

So, hes been out of the mix too long to even be considered. He has bigger fish to fry like Mr. Tony.
You think Tony's a better option than Khabib? I don't see another pure striker being much of a challenge, esp one that's only just now emerging as a challenger. Tony needs another big fight more than Khabib does. Khabib's last win was RDA, Tony's was Edson.

Argue all you want, UFC doesn't consider him an option.. as much as you think he is, its not going to happen, so why keep bringing it up? Hes booked for Tony. k?

Aldo contradicting his words? I'm really not surprised at this point

LOL then why are you talking about Tony fighting McG? He's booked to the guy you're making your argument against. We're talking about it because we're fight fans.

I'm talking about Tony fighting Khabib, what the fuck are you talking about?

Khabib and Tony are booked to fight each other...in mid April, the UFC has removed fighters from future cards to fight an earlier event on a number of occasions, that's a non-factor if both those fighters want to fight McG now. The UFC CAN and HAS made changes like this before. They both should be in the mix if Tony is.

Lost respect for a fighter not taking a fight 2 months after being knocked out? I can't get worthless posters like you on my ignore last fast enough.

if glass chin overeem can get KO and fight again a few months later why cant aldo?

I'm an Aldo fan and I have to agree it looks bad. There would be a big size disadvantage at 155 and it might be too soon after getting knocked out, but he clearly stated he would fight McGregor anytime, anywhere and apparently he said he was training for this if someone had to pull out.

Weird that so many people don't understand the effects of a KO, and how stupid it would be to get back in there after only 2 months
