Social No Kings national protest 10/18 - the end of Trump and MAGA?

Zero arrests at no kings Day New York. LA and DC both looked good to. No people climbing fences, taking shits on desks, stealing American flags in Government offices on an on. In the US alone over 7 million participants the largest one day protest in history.

They are chanting "We say no to digital ID" over and over again... what the fuck people imagine digital ID being proposed for the UK, has to do with Trump, I couldn't even guess...

Yea I skipped thru it lol , I think that’s something they really should be outraged by over there. I think I read some 23000 arrest this year for social media laws
 
I mean if we assuming there was "7 million" that came out, that would be something like 2.6% of all US adults over age 18 -- how they count that with regular foot traffic, social media, regular media, and just people there to spectate I have no idea.... But good numbers for sure!

I propose next Saturday we have a counter-protest!

Now hear me out -- I don't have to spend any money, organize with mainstream media, promote or sell anything, and my message is 100% clear : It's called "DO WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANT, IT'S SATURDAY"

Sorry for the weekend warriors ;) I was kitchen/machine shop for 20+ years lol, if I had a saturday off it literally WAS either a mistake or a miracle -- and I sure as shit wouldn't waste it to go cosplay at some event like this....
 
I live in a very red county and i saw three separate large groups of people standing on the sides of the road with signs. My wife and i honked for support.
There are a lot of former Trump supporters around here that ive talked to who are pissed about the tarrifs, about Epstein, about the government shutdown and mass layoffs, etc. He has pissed off a lot of regular people.

  • The effect? CRINGE + IRONY -- impact of almost NOTHING. Maybe a good "idea", but poor branding and marketing? You have billionaires and entire political groups sponsoring/endorsing an event -- and got some mainstream media choppers to fly over staged formations.....
  • ...That was the best they could do with the funding and planning? Holy fuckin balls man.... Consider it not impressive.
  • Neither side looks good on this. The people protesting are in theory, Americans (lets not speculate lol) -- so calling it anti-american is wrong, because it's their right to protest, but then having the protest completely... ALLOWED.... isn't something a king would even let happen.... so wow -- good job BOTH sides on trying to just divide we the people with nothing productive to show.
  • It's a complete shit show from "we the people" -- and with common ground of ANY kind just getting torn further apart to the point of this comical shit, I think it would have served a better purpose to take the people from these protests and invest the time with more productive means.... be it helping locally with food drives, clothing, or fundraising with a goal. The end narrative of the "event" didn't produce much more than a midget queef in the wind.... for shit people were already at wits end about.... so.... kinda irrelevant?

Just like everything else in American culture over the last 30 years, protesting is nothing but laughable apathy.

A ton of bark in the USA right now, not a lot of bite (where it matters).

Imagine thinking these problems get fixed with bureaucracy and democratic (lmfao) elections.
