So many kinds of people get hooked. Some are good people, some aren't. Being an addict doesn't make you a bad person. I feel very sorry for addicts.

My two older sisters were introduced to heroin by their boyfriends. Teenagers are so impressionable. They ruined their lives and died because of it. They were still good people, though.

carbon monoxide poisoning is relatively easy to figure out, there are changes to the skin and blood findings that are pretty characteristic of it.

Technically speaking, nobody said that fentanyl didn't show-up. The mother only mentioned the absence of heroin, which is the drug with the worst reputation and stigma in the public's eye.

I feel bad for the families not the addicts. So i am sorry for your loss. I have a brother that's a heroin addict and he was a good person, but its only a matter of time before they turn in junkies that only care about getting high.

We've had like 700 OD deaths this year already from fentanyl, one saturday 22 people arrived with OD's to a single hospital in a span of 6 minutes


Shit is cray and apparently its fast as fuck

But paramedics, cops and firefighters are now equipped with a kit that if administered quick enough saves the person's life, and they are actually working on a program that will give people these kits to take home, so they can self administer

It's increasingly becoming an over the counter product and available as a super easy to use nasal spray, which I think is great.

Also it's a good thing the DEA is banning kratom...a plant that hits the mu receptor and has never resulted in a single overdose when taken on its own (as opposed to being mixed with other more powerful drugs)...that was sarcasm. It's basically the opiate equivalent of marijuana if you will, incredible safety record for a psychoactive substance.

The report was suspected heroin OD, which basically means "found with needles/injection marks/ties". Fentanyl probably, but when you're injecting shit into your body, it can be anything that kills.
