That was my initial thought when I heard about it but I think they'd have worked that out from his blood and testing the apartment where they were found.

You can't make assumptions. People go in for surgery and get the wrong leg amputated.

Sure as hell is a thing in Vancouver my god so many junkies dying here on a daily basis from it.

I live in Calgary and it is here. An article in the Calgary herald stated that 270 had died in Alberta from it in 2015.

I'd be very surprised if it wasn't a big thing in QC just like it is across Canada and the US. Seems to be in the news every week lately, the drug is deadly.

Another point I saw raised is that heroin leaves your system fairly quickly I don't know how true that is.
Either way unless it was carbon monoxide it's assumed that they both OD'd. Very unfortunate I hope he pulls through.
Didn't like him on TUF but he won me over for sure.

Not a bad question at all. I think he was found in an apartment, so it is highly unlikely if no one else has been ill. Most likely they bought something they thought was heroin and it wasn't. Sad that the war on drugs pushes desperate people to buy from random street junkies. I'm not a user but no reputable dealer would do something like this. These guys must have been super desperate to get such a bad batch.
