All I have been hearing lately from this fanbase is that BJ is "motivated, in shape, has muscles, has that look in his eye, is fired up, is gonna prove his legacy etc etc"

By all means it appears that a lot of this is true, but the question remains, even if BJ comes in on top of his game and lives up to all these words and still gets beat by Rory, will it all be for not? Will the excuses pour in that he was actually in terrible shape, didnt care, etc etc etc

What do you think? How will one of the most dedicated fan bases on sherdog react?

Rory is certainly much larger and that's a fact.

Whether you construe that as an "excuse" is up to you

Give it a rest. Only Bj nut huggers think he's going to win.

No matter what there should be no excuses. Grown ass men don't need anyone to run around making excuses for them.

Fighters aren't machines, they're people. They have good days and bad. When people's favorite fighters lose, they're going to look for reasons why, and when pressed by the inevitable hate and shit-talking their fighter will be subjected to following a loss, they're going to express those reasons. Cope.

BJ will come in at 100 percent and realize that he's a LW or even a FW trying to fight with guys that could fight at MW. Seriously.. he's smaller than half the LWs right now. I wish he would just go back to LW.

Oh,there will be excuses.
Lights too bright/too dim,mat too soft/too hard,too much grease,too little grease.Didn't feel well/food poisoning.

Oh,there will be excuses.

I would be disappointed but I wont participate in any excuse making, it's a waste of time.
