Even though they didn't show anything for Switch Metroid and Pokémon, it's set my mind at ease just knowing they are officially in development.

Did they say when they've started development for Switch Metroid? I am hoping they've been working on it for at least almost 2 years so it's ready for E3 and hopefully a 2018 holiday release or maybe 2019. If they are juuuuust starting it'll be at least 2020 or longer..

Finally got a chance to watch some of the vids. Mario Odyssey looks f@cking bonkers, can't wait to play this game. So hyped this is out in October as well, going to play the sh!t out of this with the kids over Christmas.

As an RPG guy, I've been pretty bummed with this E3 since there has been next to nothing on the RPG front across all the platforms. Then I watched the E3 trailer for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and all was right with the world. Also hitting for the holidays so I'm pumped for that as well.

I didn't see any word on development time, I can only pray that it will be out before 2020. Keeping my fingers crossed for Holidays 2018, but since they didn't show any gameplay it's probably more likely of Holiday 2019.

Can any Xenoblade vets fill me in on this new one? Is it a direct sequel or standalone story? How's the combat, I thought I heard one of the guys say it was automatic or something during the Treehouse gameplay segment. Never played a Xenoblad game but this one looks really cool.
