Diggin the Bravely Default vibes from this game.

Hmmm I don't see anything remotely resembling Bravely Default in this. It does look an awful lot like I am Setsuna, which makes sense since it's by the same people. Hell even the penguin enemies are exactly the same from Setsuna. Which worries me because Lost Sphere looks cool, but will most likely be ATB which I can't get into no matter how much I try.

1. Mario Odyssey comes out at the end of this year sometime
2. No. Some WiiU games have gotten ported over, but until they officially announce the virtual console we don't know if you'll be able to transfer your WiiU games.

The chibi character style reminded me of it along with it being more turn based it seems(God I need to play Bravely Default again). It looks different than Square's usual RPG fare and in a good way hence the Bravely Default comparison.

Bravely Default and Bravely Second are both awesome games, always worth replaying. Hopefully Silicon will make the third game available on the Switch.

I'm hoping this new game is actually turn based, would be a dream come true.

Gameplay footage out for Monster Hunter XX for the Switch and a Japan release date of 8/25. It's a port from the 3DS so it doesn't look stunning like BotW did, but it's still a big improvement over the 3DS. As I said earlier it looks like it will look/play similar to the port of MH3U for the Wii U, which I'm totally happy with because I spent an ungodly amount of time with MH3U.

I'm so hyped for this. Getting Zelda: BotW, Persona 5, and a console MH(even if it's a port) would make for a pretty epic year. Not sure if the Western port will hit in 2017 though. At least it hits Japan in August.

It's been a hell of a year with great games so far. Will only get better as the year goes on.

I would hope that MHXX gets an English release since it's already out here for the 3DS. At the very least Eng text options in the JP version. Love the fact that the Switch is region free.

Monster Hunter is absolutely perfect for the Switch. It's a game that on the 3ds I wished could be on a bigger screen, and on the WiiU wanted to take with me when I had to go.

I am fan of indie games but I generally never play them because when I do play it was always on a console/PC so it's generally dedicated to AAA games. With the portability of the switch I am finding myself buying them en mass. Indie games are perfectly suited for my traveling needs...
