ARMS looks awesome, but yes. I took am looking forward to the Splatoon trailer. Also, reddit has been posting the Squid Sister stories along with a tumblr artist who is making comics of them. On phone, will post later from pc.

Arms looks cool, just not to me. I never cared for 1v1 fighting games.

The Squid Sisters stories are weird. It's like they're trying to set Callie up for a tragic death, then nothing happens through episodes 2-4, then ominous foreshadowing again.

^^Everyone should do themselves a favor and download the Disgaea 5 demo from the Switch eshop. It gives you access to the first 5 levels, and you can carry your save data to the full game.

The game itself is fun as hell. I played it for a little while on the PS4 and really enjoyed it. The game doesn't take itself seriously, and the characters are all likeable. The gameplay is great, and there's a ton of content. The only reason I could think of someone not liking the game is if they dislike anime. Very animeish in a lot of ways which isn't for everyone.

Either way I recommend the demo to everyone to at least try.

Plus, the Prinnys are totally awesome, dood!

Yeah. Kinda like how Overwatch have been doing I guess, and recently EA also came out that's how they want to approach Battlefield in the future, getting rid of their Premium thing. I guess you still gotta subscribe to the Nintendo online service but this is pretty cool and will hopefully keep ARMS' online playerbase healthy.

I disagree with that statement, but ARMS did look a lot more appealing to me after watching that Direct. Will definitely buy it at some point.

Splatoon 2's trailer has me way more hyped. The story looks a lot more fleshed out this time around. Also looks like we can use all different types of weapons in the single player mode, which is awesome!

The more you play the more comfortable you get with the maps and controls, and eventually you git gud. If you can't handle or don't like the motion controls, you can switch them off.

The timing in shooting and even dunking is a little weird to me, but I will get used to it. I seem to be always late when I release. I only won my last game because I hit a 7 point shot before the buzzer.

yeah I am not getting the timing either. the tutorial kinda sucked. went through a tourney and couldn't beat the last time. they plowed through me with continuous alley-oops that I couldn't block. and that was on the easiest level.

not as fun as I thought it'd be. I'd have to keep on playing to know for sure but I keep on going back to Mario kart. way more fun there...
