^^Everyone should do themselves a favor and download the Disgaea 5 demo from the Switch eshop. It gives you access to the first 5 levels, and you can carry your save data to the full game.

The game itself is fun as hell. I played it for a little while on the PS4 and really enjoyed it. The game doesn't take itself seriously, and the characters are all likeable. The gameplay is great, and there's a ton of content. The only reason I could think of someone not liking the game is if they dislike anime. Very animeish in a lot of ways which isn't for everyone.

Either way I recommend the demo to everyone to at least try.

Plus, the Prinnys are totally awesome, dood!

Yea I played the PS4 demo and it seemed fun wish I could have done a bit more. My only worry is the story, I like a good story in my games so I could see myself getting bored of the gameplay eventually and with no story to push me through I probably wouldn't finish.

There's a story there, it's just more humorous at parts. Not going to have some award winning Naughty Dog level writing but still fun and interesting enough to keep you playing. At least that's how it was for me.

Ah ok that's good to hear so then it probably would be enough. I don't always need that ground breaking story to keep going especially if game play is good.

There's a theory going aroud that one of them is going to be the villain in Splatoon 2 but I doubt it. At most they could play the kidnapped/brainwashed angle.

That...is actually plausible since the Squid Sister stories make reference to that. In the previous to last Splatfest, Callie and Marie argued about wins with Callie citing more wins, but Marie winning the more major ones(Spongebob, Pokemon, Transformers, Joke man vs Straight man, etc.) and decided for the last one to be who the better Squid Sister was(Marie took that one). The Squid Sister Stories continue 2 years after that.

Yea I was browsing the upcoming Kickstarter games that are featuring Switch as an option/stretch goal and ended up backing a few. This one, Battle Chasers, and another I can't quite recall at the moment.
