Nintendo Nintendo Megathread, v.6: Switch 2 Edition

A new Kirby Air Ride with Sakurai directing, an exclusive FromSoft game, and a new Donkey Kong that looks surprisingly good. I was ready to be unimpressed, but they had some good shit at the end. When they said, let's show a new game using our mouse controls, I thought, oh, I wonder what it's going to be. A FPS with responsive controls? A RTS? And then it was a wheelchair basketball game that looked like a tech demo from two gens ago, lol.

A switch 2 exclusive souls game?

Yeah, back when Soul Calibur II came out, each console had their own exclusive character....Gamecube had Link, Xbox had Spawn and Playstation had Heichichi from Tekken

No reason I would make this my primary console (and I wasn’t expecting it to) but it’s good to see an emphasis on third party to make it more viable.

I’ll still use it primarily as an exclusive machine and I have no doubt they’ll deliver there. Pricing seems a bit out of touch which is strange given they’ve always produced affordable consoles. Kind of hard to justify at this point.

I doubt a price drop will happen for some time but I might wait until they build up the library a bit more.

No matter what, I’m there for Duskbloods so I’ll definitely get it at least by then.
