I actually find him entertaining and charismatic but the guy is clearly insane now from all the stigmatization and conflicts he has to deal with on a daily basis.

lets be real here, the 'conflicts and stigmatization' don't just get thrown at him out of a vacuum. He purposely stirs up racial antagonism and consistently insults entire demographics to get view and make money. He brings every bit of conflict on himself- not least in declaring 'we are in a civil war' about 3x per month.

The Paradox of Tolerance comes to mind here. Violence should be the last resort to dealing with his ilk, sure, but any opposition I have to violence against fascists is strategic, not moral. Nothing is off the table when it comes to silencing these cretins.

The problem is who decides who deserves violence against them. Plenty of anti-jewish Muslims and black nationalist groups. Target them for violence? Maybe the idea that words ARE violence to some on the left gives them justification in their own minds to hurt or kill.

If you advocate for physical violence against others, if you advocate for using violence against others to obtain your goals then you should be prepared for the same level of violence to be perpetrated against you.

If I say, “anyone who has their t-shirt bottom hanging out from their sweatshirt should be punched in the teeth until they tuck that shit in” then I should be prepared for someone to punch me in the mouth for my own position and stance on the issue.

If I say, “people who have their shirts hanging out from their hoody’s are loathsome, vile creatures worthy of contempt and nothing more” then I shouldn’t be punched in the mouth for my statement.

I get the poetic justice side but I dont approve in practice. That stupid kid Kyle Rittenhouse likely had the same opinion as did some of those who supported him. Again I get the sentiment. I dont know a lot about this guy or what hes said but I would rather talk and get to know a black nationalist that calls for revolution and violence to change his mind rather than want him and his family terrorized.
