yeah he only beat whittaker due to freak injury even though whittaker had the freak injury for years and no one could get him in a position to exploit it. Whittaker got ragdolled and put in a face crank which could have made him tap regardless, whittaker himself said he doesn't know if he gets out of the crank even with healthy teeth in redcornermma interivew. Saying he only won due to freak injury is just stupid

Either way he has one win against a legit MW contender, who’s clearly on the decline.

As stated, KC is likely a future champ, but he still has to go in there and do it.

Claiming the #1 and #2 contenders are not in the same league is obviously moronic.

"Freak injury". It was total domination, against what people thought was his toughest match-up, who had two camps to prepare for him. Give that win some respect. Likewise regarding the Usman win. Strickland never beat fighters of that caliber before he got his titleshot.

I respect Stricklands ability and what he has achieved. However, I can't really see a way for him to win against Khamzat unarmed. Khamzat won't let him just walk him down and spam jabs and teeps. He will be taken down at will, it will be a very different fight to what he's used to.

Is the fan scamming bit true? Pretty much the same thing Khabib is doing, petty little money scams? Sean isn't the most credible person, but that is sad if true.
 
He's not wrong that khamzat scammed his fans, but strickland isn't the guy who should be talking about morals. He has made fun of 2 different fighters who died by saying the first one who died deserved to die because he couldn't avoid getting hit by a bus or something stupid like that. And for the 2nd fighter who died he basically said if she wasn't a hot girl then no one would be giving it attention
 
of course he's right. all of the things he said is well documented. Khamzat cannot deny he left, how else did he end up in Sweden. we all seen him hanging out with Kadyrov and him getting beaten up by Kadyrov's kids. unless you're telling me Kadyrov's sons are really world class MMA fighters, it's obvious he was scared to actually do anything and just allowed himself to lose out of fear of repercussions.

i don't blame him for that, Kadyrov is a serial killing maniac, i do think he should chill on his super tough guy talk about killing everybody when we all witnessed him bitch out to Kadyrov though. if you kill everybody, why didn't you kill that guy?

In Chimaev's partial defense, I've been to protests and riots and shit and been beaten to a pulp by cops before I turned 18, but if I had family in Chechnya I'd thread lightly too. It's not only my life on the line.
Maybe he loves Kadyrov and maybe he doesn't, makes sense to act that way in any case.

I think it's a bit of both... they're trying to sell the fight but by getting personal - feelings will be involved (at least until after the fight and they hug it out lol).
