lol, laviolette gonna face that awkward, yet anticipated front office visit...

"Look, Pete we appreciate what you did with the team this year, no lie...

BUT, we're thinking a change of culture, work ethic might be best now...."

Brings to mind, how and why the fuck isn't Quenneville not coaching an NHL team right now?
Quenneville isn't coaching again thanks to that shit that went down in Chicago. He has to get permission from the league, and I don't see that happening.

Yeah, I’m aware of the backstory without intimate knowledge of the details. If it’s too damning then of course he’s done..
Shame

Wouldn't mind seeing Bob finally win.

Indeed!

edmonton should just relocate. they suck.

lol. Vancouver is barely even Canadian. It's borderline American/Pacific geographically and culturally similar to Seattle. Only 2/20 of the Canucks' lineup for game 7 was Canadian (16/20 Oilers were) and the team's best players (whether it's Hughes/Demko/Boeser/Pettersson/Miller, the Sedin twins, Naslund/Ohlund, or Bure) are fittingly almost always foreign.
