Nganou refused the 8-14 Million offer to fight jones

LMAO

Do you.... do you think this is the phrase?
Opposite of a lost leader. The company takes the hit by offering us a product for a lower price, so kinda? Since Ngannou isn’t exactly making their money back on the investment. So someone is taking the hit because they’re trying to grow by overpaying for Ngannou, and not transferring that overpayment onto us,

Werdum and Bader

Be real bro.

Werdum was a washed 44 year old and had lost recently to a washed Oleinik. Also that was a NC, did he or didn’t he get “Brazilian Tapped”? Tough to say. But after 2017 he fell off a cliff physically, was no longer an elite win even if used to be elite 5 years prior.

Bader was also a heavily declined 40 year old LHW that moved up to feaston a shallow talent pool of HW’s that couldn’t wrestle. 2016 was the last time he looked elite in a different weight class. Again, not an elite win even if used to be elite in a different weight class 7 years prior.

Context matters, or is Mike Tyson an elite boxing win for Jake Paul?

Again, I probably underrated Renan using hyperbole, but let’s not use fake name-value of fighters that used to be great but are highly faded versions themselves as evidence of greatness.

Bader looked fine in the rematch against Machida, did he not?

This notion that Jon had years to fight Francis is beyond ludicrous

Francis was champion for less than a year and out injured for significant part of his championship making Gane interim champion.

Exactly. There was only a small window for this fight to happen in the back half of 2021

Machida was 43 years old at the time of that fight.

How do you not understand that getting old and having a ton of wear and tear dramatically declines your abilities?

Machida relied on lighting fast speed and reflexes to make his game work - he last looked elite in 2015, which was 6 years before he fought Bader.

You’ve gotta use context and perspective when thinking about these things bro.

I don't think it had to do with age. Machida got exposed by better strikers..it all came crashing down right after he won the title.

Jones wanted 30 million. He priced himself out of the fight per Dana, and he’s gonna do it again for Tom. Strange he didn’t want that much for Gane or Stipe.

Fella... "lost" leader isn't a thing, although it sounds hilarious.

Ngannou is the greatest fighter of all time simply for the greatest victory of all time: He beat the UFC.

Laughing all the way to the bank for glorified exhibition fights and joining a competitor.
