Wilder is going to face Tyrell Herndon instead

I cant get any news on Ngannou . What is he going to do?

"Called off"

It was never on bro.

I will do boxing next,” Ngannou confirmed to Sportsbook Review, as noted by The Mirror, adding that his desire to make this particular matchup a reality is because “there’s an 80 percent chance that somebody will go to sleep.”

“I’m going against that guy, and I myself can knock someone out. Deep inside me there is a little bit of ego, like I know I hit harder. I’m saying from my experience that we will have that ego that we both want to prove ‘no, it’s me [who hits harder]. Who is the biggest hitter between you and Deontay? Those sorts of conversations are popping around a little bit and even though you think you don’t care about it, it sticks somewhere in your mind.”

Former WBC champion Wilder has on numerous occasions indicated that he would be interested in fighting Ngannou, saying last year: “Even since I’ve been off, there’s been a lot of offers coming in, a lot of different countries. Even with Francis
.”

Two fighters expressing interest in a matchup doesn't mean it was on. No promoter ever booked / announced that fight, I don't think the two of them even entered serious negotiations outside of some casual comments made in interviews.

A couple guys mention each other as possible opponents does not equal "fight was called off". The ESPN article you linked doesn't even mention Francis.

The saudis were interested

That's unfortunate, would be more exciting for Wilder than fighting an unknown. And he probably has a similar chance of losing to this guy as to Ngannou.

No - you just don't understand. Once you sign for a fight, you implicitly have "called off" a fight with every other fighter in the known universe. This is a very important point we should all be focused on as fans.

This is like saying a sherdoggers date with Sydney Sweeny was called off. It was never on.

Francis is going to say "enjoy the process" and then he is going to enjoy the process.

Ngannou Zhang is probably the only boxing fight he can ask for, but is that even big enough? Probably has to take a pay cut or give up boxing.
