Francis is Shane Carwin without an engineering degree, what are you talking about. Their first few fights in the UFC even looked identical. Prime Carwin with no injuries is easily top 5 in todays HW, as I think he would beat both Blaydes and Tuivasa quite handidly.

You don't need more than 1 decision win to prove you have the ability, especially when your win is over a guy who had plenty of decision wins and never lost a round to anyone else.

It's sad Ngannou couldn't work things out with the DC, he could've established himself among the most dominant UFC of all time next to champs Sylvia, Stipe, Randy and Cain, he could've set a new title defense record and been in the conversation for all time great HW's, with his early retirement not even sure he makes the top 5.

No he's not, he's just insanely powerful. He isn't that good at boxing skills apart from that power, and his resume is very slight. His draw with Fury is arguably his top achievement and after that there's not much.

He's not a can crusher but certainly a journeyman crusher.

He's at the top. He gave Fury hard fights and was competitive and close to winning. Resume doesn't matter if he can fight at that level vs Fury. There is a reason why Joshua and Ruiz isn't rushing to fight him. If he sucks and was easy they would take that fight right away. He's not so they aren't really mentioning him. Wilder is better than people give him credit for because they focus more on his power. He's not the most technical but he knows what he's doing. He's not just blindly spamming power shots.

Guys like JDS, Cain Velazquez, and Francis ngganou are some of the best heavyweight fighters in mma history, but they just don’t have enough big wins to stand out historically. But observing their abilities, I really feel they hold up well against most heavyweights in history stylistically.
