@NFL says it offered Tom Brady “extraordinary safeguard by investigators to protect unrelated personal information.” Didn’t turn over phone

Guilty.

Off with his head.

Or he didnt want the pictures of him and Welker leaked.

They did nothing wrong.

They were saying on Sirius today that apparently they didn't want his phone, all they wanted was for Tom to show the texts to them.

Brady is already appealing, this will be a 2 game slap on the wrist

According to the CBA players are suppose to cooperate with investigations they may be involved in. The suspension was too lenient imo.

Also lol at fare I didn't even notice

I don't think it's fair, but...

This is still one game less than what Terrelle Pryor got coming out of college, for stuff he did in college. NFL is so stupid sometimes.

The 4 games was for Brady breaking the rules AND lying about... The forfeiting of picks was for the Patriots achieving Repeat offender status as cheaters

I guess he would've been better off beating his wife and only getting 2 games.

I love Belichick and never minded Brady.

But both parties deserved even worse punishment. 8 games would have felt right.

Texts between equipment personnel explicitly talked about Brady being a bitch and demanding they underinflated balls. They also implicitly mention exchange of goods: i.e Brady was bribing equipment personnel to break the rules.

Cool thanks for the info, wondered why.

This is one criticism that I'll never understand. How is this new that sports leagues punish more rigorously for sports violations than off-the-field violations? Do people really expect them to function as an actual policing body in excess to the actual police?

Historically, sports leagues let the state punish crimes made illegal by the state and primarily handle league violations.

There's a reason OJ Simpson is still in the HOF and Pete Rose was denied entry.

4 games was what I thought before, didn't think they'd take a 1st round pick too but whatever
