I've been thinking about it, I'd definitely put current day Oscar De La Fishnets on your list imo.

When your average height is 5'5" you're a fatass once you hit 160 pounds.

Franco Colombo

5-5 185

Buddy Young

5-4 167 pounds

BS on being a 40 champ, but he was the NCAA and USA 100 champ.

The roots to the tree

Ira Murchison out of Wastern Michigan was a 5-4 Olympic sprinter a 10.1 and 9.3 world record holder a 165 pounder.

There have been a few 5-4 to 5-6 160ish pound world class sprinters.

I'm reminded of Rain Man when you start posting shit like this.

I;m reminded of Lenny from Mice and Men when i read shit like at 5-5 you are a fatass at 160 pounds.

Nolan "Super Gnat" Smith the great kick returner for the Chiefs and a 9.4 sprinter at Tennessee State was 5-5 160 pounds.

Charley "Anvil" Tolar the first Houston Oiler 1000 yard rusher, 5-6 195 pounds.

Howard Stevens Saints RB 5-5 165

Tons of Chinese sprinters around that 5-5 160 pound range, same from Japan and Thailand.

It would help if he had a running game, no young QB will thrive in constant third and long. YES the guy has some serious talent but that situation he is in sucks.

Jeanty averaged 3.7 a carry, that will not work.
Jeanty was a demon unleashed and obliterated everyone when given even a hint of actual blocking. 84% of yards after contact. Watch more ball and google less Pro Bowl stats.

Lets see what they do with o-line additions through the FA/draft and getting the stud LT and C back healthy.

Whe you come in contact with a guy who can talk Charley Tolar, Nolan Smih, Buddy Young, Howard Stevens you don;t tell them to watch more football, hahahaha~~~

I have seen Jeanty just as much as you have, yes.....his avg is 3.7. That is all I said about him. When your best RB can only avg 3.7 that will not help a young QB at all.

Google?.......really guy?

Barry Sanders was running for his life most the time. he avged over 5 for a career.

The smallest NFLer I have seen was former Baylor WR/KR Gerald McNeil all 5-7 137 pounds of him.

In two words.....ultra quick.

Way back when there was one cat around 125 pounds but forget his name. Was a RB.

Willie Nelson was a HS RB, just sayin'.

At the other end of the spectrum the 280 pound fullback at Texas A&M George Woodard

The Denver Broncos once had a former Villanova shot putter Billy Joe a 250 pound fullback and the great Cookie Gilchrist also a 250 pound fullback together.

I don't recall seeing them out there together. Can't think of a bigger.... what could have been... in the backfield.

No college football for him, he went straight from HS to the CFL then the Bills then the Broncos.

As a Bill he had the first 1000 yard rushing season in the AFL.

Speaking of size...

The Chiefs have had some TE's.

Back in the old AFL days the best TE in that league the Chiefs Fred Arbansas

Tony Gonzalez and Travis Kelce on that Mount Rushmore.

When it comes to just size, Morris Stroud 6-10.

Guessing the Eagles Harold Carmichael was the tallest WR, 6-7 or 6-8?

Dan McQuire a Seahawks at 6-8 the tallest QB...?

Cowboys RB Calvin Hill was 6-5 thinking Giants Brandon Jacobs around that.

Cowboys QB Eddie LeBaron 5-7.

One of the funniest videos that wasn't suppose to be comical is that HS video of Derrick Henry, talk about a man vs boys there it is.

Morris-Stroud-Rule-Story-1024x1024.webp

Actually that rule was already in place because of former basketballer/Niner RC Owens who did jump up and block a FG.

R. C. Owens’ one-of-a-kind field goal block, revisited

History, as we all know, is a living thing. More information — better information — comes along, and the record gets revised. Earlier this week I published a post (and photo) about the Colts’ R. C. Owens blocking a field goal try in 1962 in a unique way: He stood back by the goal posts, jumped as high as he could and re-jected a kick attempted by the Redskins.
