yes he is scrappy like Smith n lightning quick gives big corners trouble. One of the few wrs to consistently beat and seperate from Sherm has been Chris Givens and hes not nearly as physical or as good a route runner as CooksIf youre going to say that the number of targets dont matter in terms of his catching skills then dont try and use numbers to prove how his routes are lacking. Put Matthews and Cooks up against a big physical corner and let me know who has the advantage. Thats kind of a big deal in the NFL, Cooks isnt scrappy like Steve Smith (though who is).
Anyway, theyre both very good prospects.

I take it u just watched the highlights of that game? Clowney didn't murder Lean or anything, plus Lean will probably play RT, lastly won't get into judging Lewans future pro success based on one game you probably only saw highlights of
Matthews stinks. He'll probably put up decent numbers though as a result of that Chip Kelly offense.
Here's Desean's analysis. Seems they wrote more back than and guess who he compared to lol...
That Winston crab stealing story is my favorite football player crime.
The SEC's all time leader in receptions stinks? lol, no way dude. It's absolutely amazing the numbers Matthews put up last year when you consider his terrible quarterback play, and the fact that they force-fed the ball to him (so defenses keyed on him the entire game).
I don't know if he'll make it in the NFL (and I read that the Eagles were going to use him as a slot receiver, which I think is insane), I don't know how well he'll transition to the Eagles offense, but he doesn't stink. His biggest concerns were some drops, but I think that issue is a tad bit overrated, considering how this past season the quarterbacks only looked his way.
In my time, the only Vandy wide receivers worth a damn have been Earl Bennett and Jordan Matthews. Bennett was great in college, but he was just too damn small for the NFL. Matthews potential is beastly, but I don't know if he'll make the transition.
Rams didn't know about Sam's reality show until after they drafted him. Fucking lol.
