Wanna hear something embarrassing?

I loved Pierre Desir as a defensive prospect, but I don't really follow college ball all that ardently except for the prospects. He went to Lindenwood University. There's a Lindenwood University about fifteen miles from where I work. I didn't even make the connection that it was the same Lindenwood. I just figured there were two.

he ho

We both went to the same high school.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/1...ach-says-johnny-manziel-texted-hurry-draft-me

During a radio interview on "SportsTalk with Bo Mattingly" on ESPN Arkansas 96.3, Loggains said that as Manziel slid down the draft board, he sent him a text that read: "I wish you guys would come get me. Hurry up and draft me because I want to wreck this league together."

Added Loggains: "When I got that text, I forwarded it to the owner (Jimmy Haslam) and to the head coach (Mike Pettine). I'm like, 'This guy wants to be here. He wants to be part of it.' As soon as that happened, Mr. Haslam said, 'Pull the trigger. We're trading up to go get this guy.'"

First ESPN comment killed it

The Browns are like an ugly freshman girl in high school. the first time a popular senior acknowledges them they fall in love.

Hercandez should text them from prison and see if they try and bust him out.

Manziel doesn't sound determined there. He sounds insecure and desperate

If I may weigh in on Cooks/Matthews

Matthews isn't overly physical and doesn't use his size very well. He's a fluid athlete but doesn't show a lot of explosiveness either.

Cooks, on the other hand, is less tentative and is lightning out of his breaks. He certainly doesn't have Steve Smith level of scrap though. That's absurd. Steve Smith is Steve Fucking Smith. Cooks could very well get bullied.

I think both sides have valid claim to their opinions. I personally think Matthews will have a hard time being more than a complementary weapon, as opposed to a #1 guy because of his style. Cooks will almost certainly never be a classic #1 outside WR, but he could be his team's biggest weapon out of the slot and at a more utility type of position.

Both guys landed in great spots. Cooks is probably going to be in the OROTY race. Should be able to fill a Sproles type role.

Kanpernicks spot on the Top 100 is hurting feelings. This show delivers every year.

Just curious, how many Raiders so far?

Lol these rankings fucking suck. Charles Clay #89? Demarco Murray ahead of Forte and Lacy? Kiko Alonso at #84, and ahead of DROTY Sheldon Richardson, is a head scratcher.

Revis will probably be ranked pretty low after his perceived "down year"

Which is why these things are amusing. They never make much sense.

Im not big on Kanpernick but Id have a hard time 13 QBs over him.

Who's getting upset? I will admittedly be kinda rustled if Kaep is getting rustled.

That said, given how shitty Peyton looked against Seattle on neutral field, I'd rank Kaep above Peyton. Peyton is King Can Crusher Who Happens To Wilt Against Above Average Teams.

Couple commentators were arguing over it. Eric Davis went on his usual SF homer rant but at least he had a good point this time.

Rams released Daryl Richarcan. The Tre Mason pick looks really good now.

I actually like Kaep a lot, he has all the tools to be a beast.

In 2012 he caught everyone off guard, last season teams adjusted to his game but he still had a solid year.

This is the year where we'll see if he's going to be a franchise QB or just an athlete who refuses to go through his progressions.

He looked PHENOMENAL against Green Bay in week 1. And never looked that good again.
