NFL Discussion v52: LOL Raiders

Yeah, seriously, how the F does Matt Schaub get to make 11 million after last season? He should be grateful the league will still use him. I remember being shocked when Jake Delhomme got $20 million guaranteed after his five INT game in the playoffs. Teams pay even the shitty QBs.

Playoffs and probowls Id imagine.

You really think Matt Schaub is worth $11 million because of the past? He should be getting a vet minimum with incentive deal. He played disgracefully bad last season.

What? Fuck no.

Im saying thats how he got the contract.

Rapoport said a few hours ago Eagles may release Desean.

Is he the the new TO or what? Must have a bad ass attitude around the team if theyre going to release a talent like that.

A friend of mine that's a hardcore eagles fan said he heard he's been causing problems in and out of the locker room. Must be bad if they're willing to roll with a recently injured Maclin and Racist Cooper. I'd expect them to go WR come draft time.

$11 million is pretty cheap for a QB who isn't on his rookie contract.

Schaub seems like a good bet for positive regression this season. I'd be more concerned with what the Raiders are surrounding him with. He always had an above average supporting cast in Houston until everything fell apart in 2013. With Oakland, he'll have an aging piecemeal O-Line, motely receivers, and McFadden.

God, rolling out Jordy/Cobb/DJax would be fucking absurd

No way it happens lol but I can dream

So if it's not human then it's ok to torture and murder it?

You are a fucking moron

Oh buddha be praised. Fuck you. Don't act like your so high and mighty that you've never hurt an animal, bug, w/e in your entire life. So I guess when roaches invade your trailer you'll accept them with open arms.

Roaches invading his trailer would be a declaration of war

You don't acquire roaches in order to torture them. If you did, well, I'd say you were a fucking weirdo and a generally shitty person

Rams should0snag Jax, Fisher deals well with troubled players. Although with Givens, Austin and Bailey Rams have enough short speedy receivers

It is really quite bizarre that they are ready to move on from DeSean Jackson after his best season ever. A few years ago, they rewarded him with that big contract after he whined and had a down year. He actually lived up to the deal last season and they want him gone. Weird. Is he being a complete **** like Darrelle Revis, who wanted a big contract after nearly every off-season? He finally earns his contract and then wants even more?

O-line isnt old. Howard, Watson, and Wisneiwski are young and theyll probably draft another guard or tackle.

But ya, hes going to need help. We need a big time WR and a RB to count on.

I wish we had a chance at Desean. Id rather have him than Crabtree

That chemistry he and Kaep have isnt easy to replace. I think Crabtree is more reliable right now.

The way I see the Schaub/Vick debate is this-

Vick became a star because he was the most explosive/athletic QB ever. Old age takes that away and now he is falling back on his football IQ which is...less than exceptional.

Schaub is every bit as hard working as the day he was born. Until Alzheimers takes hold in a few decades he should be good to go.

Unlike Vick, Schaub has never willingly executed a semi-sentient being for questionable motives. +1 Schaub.

This isn't a hard call guys.

lol troll. you sound dumb

If youre kosher with a mother fucker torturing animals you are a sick piece of shit and I hope said creature bites your balls off. Id cover Vick in gravy and feed him to my kennel.

That said, take this shit to the War Room with the filthy hippies and psycho conservatives.

As QBs, Vick and Schaub are both risky as shit and pose polar opposite strengths that really arent even comparable. You can win with either given the right circumstances and that has been proven. Given my can team, I think Schaub fits better right now. Given Alex's can team, I think Vick fits better there right now. No one has been safe running in Oakland and Vick would get murked by week 4. Give me the quicker releasing pocket passer right now. Geno was able to construct some beastly runs so I think Vick will have some success there. Though I do think hell get hurt. Schaub damn well could too if this line doesnt mesh well.

Both will probably be major turnover liabilities.

Is Alex really raving about bringing in a can like Vick?

The dude thinks Sanchez is an NFL starter.

His homer has no limits.
