That 49ers defense is legit and probably won't have a shitty gameplan either. Packers offense is firing on all cylinders right now, but it's going to be really tough. As long as the 49ers are going the cheap, mid-level QB + all star roster route, you have to hope that Turdy has one of his shitty days. Meanwhile the 49ers have to hope that he won't have one bad day in those three playoff games.

What happens when you won’t throw over the middle of the field and only want to toss it to Adams.

I was pretty drunk for that game, but I remember a throw over the middle to that can Deguara that he dropped.

I need Musgrave and or Kraft to catch something down the seam for a TD to finally wash that 2021 divisional round loss out of my mouth.

If Purdy throws one pick 6 or two INT; GB is going to the NFC title game.

Rodgers was afraid to throw the ball down field even though they were losing and needed to score quickly because he’s scared to throw ints and hurt his completion %.

It was literally playing not to lose until the blocked punt. Then it was desperation heave to Adams or bust. I was in denial, but the Niners were putting a hat on him and he looked old and cold in the second half of that game. Same thing happened when the Lions denied GB access to a playoff game in 2022.

But hey, NO LOSING SEASONS.
Lets be honest here, most owners would murder their own families for a coach that can pull that off. The fact that Tomlin managed to drag some of his teams to a winning record despite being busted on both sides of the ball says a lot, this season especially. I will admit he is starting to look like he is finally past his prime, but the man gets results out of absolute garbage. The problem being, doing decently well year after year has left them with gaping holes that earlier draft picks could fill, and they just cant seem to hit on later picks as well as some other teams.

Imagine if Love somehow beats Rodgers playoff kryptonite 49ers lol. God that would be awesome

I know things change massive week to week and niners got extra week rest but the 10 point spread seems large to me.

Everyone was moving slower, the rhythm and timing were off due to the weather. They had a lead, so he played more conservative. Also, nobody else on that fucking roster could catch a damn ball lol

Packers "window" probably really starts in the 2025 when their cap is finally cleared up, so two seasons from now. Makes annihilating the Cowboys even more hilarious.

This season they dropped two games straight, at home, to two win teams. It was only after he fired Canada, who almost everyone said shouldn't have been brought back in the off season, and started the 3rd string QB (who was clearly better than the first two) that the offense started to look competent. Tomlin can't get all the praise for solving problems that he himself was at fault for creating in the first place.

If other owners/fan bases would be happy with what Tomlin has gotten out of the Steelers in the last 10+ years then I don't know what to say. I guess I have higher expectations for my team. This team/franchise is extremely stale at the moment and is in need of change. They are going into next year being likely the worse team in their division and I doubt they will change a thing.

Come on dude..
Maurkice Pouncey + David DeCastro playing together. Sprinkle in probowl years from other guys and you had a few elite OL years.

Tomlin is a stud though, hard to judge a coach when he is getting such bad QB play.
I don't remember DeCastro being anything other than good. Pouncey had a good stretch there though. I don't remember any of their LT's being anything other than mediocre either. Although Ben did hold onto the ball forever.

I want Tomlin for another year, but I will say that I don't think I've been confident in a Steelers victory in any game for like a decade. Just too used to losing to the Jets, Bucs, or whatever other team needed to break out of a 1-5 skid.
