Mac looked like a baller his rookie year. I dont know what QBs succeed in the situation hes been in since then. Atrocious skill players and even worse offensive coaching.

If the team wasn't being run by the person everybody believes to be the greatest coach of all time, i really believe the last few years of the Patriots would be looked at as one of the biggest laughingstocks in recent sports history. I live in Boston so i heard it daily, and the incompetence was mind-blowing. If you played on offense, your chances of success were about as equivalent as an orange tree growing in a block of cement.

Yep. I can definitely see teams being interested in Mac for less than nothing of capital to give up for him for that reason (along with his rookie year).
