Elections Newsom starts a podcast and his first guest is Charlie Kirk

there should be more left vs right debates with these podcasts I don't know what that became taboo all the last few years
 
Good for him. Open discourse should be encouraged and the political system has gotten so far off track in that regard, with nothing but negative effects.
 
Newsom is trying to turn to the center left to appeal to more people. His time is up though.

That's the only reason the libs think it's a bad move for him

I give Newsom credit for jumping right into the lion's den. Maybe that's what America needs to see from Democrats in order to swing enough people back to them to win elections. They don't want to see people like Kamala Harris get all the media love despite her having no platform and unable to take one difficult question throughout the entirety of her Presidential campaigns. Like it or not, people see Charlie Kirk winning debates easily with facts and that has a big impact. Why don't you ever see a Charlie Kirk or a Ben Shapiro from the Left regularly debating other intellectuals? It's because their arguments are based off of emotion and they use guilt tripping as a winning strategy. America is clearly done with that.

Not a fan of Newsom but I listened to it.

Kudos to him for having the balls to have Kirk on there. Kirk definitely made Newsom and the left look foolish. Newsom strikes me as not someone caught up with leftist thinking, just dishonest and willing to say whatever it takes to get a vote.

I don't really think that being unaware of a specific political figure is the same as having no idea about the political spectrum, but you might be right.

What I'd say you're wrong on is me playing the part- of anything. There are things about Trump that I like and some that I don't. Yes, you and I have spoken on several occasions and seen eye to eye- none of that was insincere

Sorry, I meant that I was/am the die hard trumper, not you. Was basically just saying that I am more in-tune with MAGA world, so I understand you may not know Kirk. But I do feel MAGA has completely usurped the right, and thus changing the political spectrum. Worth knowing who people like Kirk is. His turning point action group really helped get out the vote in swing states, I feel basically winning Trump the election. Musk helped fund them a lot

This is politico about musk’s PAC teaming up with Kirk in WI, but they also teamed up in all the swing states, but especially PA
