If they were just celebrating her for being old and willing to put herself out there, like they are the fat one, I would be fussed. But if they celebrate and choose her based on her being top 0.001% of her class, which she is then I can see them picking her over someone younger who just looks appropriate and good for their age.

Put another way If they want to celebrate exceptionalism and not just youth, she is far more exceptional than most.

And for me it depends on what they are trying to say. If they are simply trying to say 'this person is the hottest', then I am more with you. BUt if they are saying 'this person is the most exceptional' then I think it is far more exceptional to look great at 40, 50 and beyond than it is at 20. You SHOULD look great at 20 as its your physical prime.

You are speaking for everyone again when you cannot do that.

I like looking at young pretty girls but am far more impressed and attracted to hot 40 something and even 50 something over a hot 20 something.

I know I am not in the majority but I also know other men like me who are in their 50's and more attracted to women closer to their own age who remain hot.

Again for me its in part because I respect an older woman who keeps herself hot as I know how difficult it is.

I am sincere when I reverse the line often when I see a hot 40 year old that i would take over any two 20 year olds. Even if i could have the 20 year olds at the same time!
