New BMW M4 leaked- and it's grotesque

A lot of car companies have been fucking up their designs lately, why should Beamers be any different?
This is an atrocity for sure.

As a side note, I'm getting the mufflers yanked off the Camaro next weekend and running straight pipes from the resonator. Video to follow.

That is a fantastic looking car..

Amazing to drive to.. unfortunately people tend to hold them to modern car standards.. that they are not but for the time.. what a car..
Their prices are skyrocketing so the people seeking them out know exactly what they're getting into; and prize its lack of amenities over the features laden modern versions.

Fun fact: the top selling BMW model in North America is the X3, followed by the X5. The 3 series is no longer the top priority for them. In fact, even the FWD based X1 outsells the 3 series now. And that car is just a rebadged Mini.

Every time I drive near or by a white me or m5 it's always the worst assholes driving the. Lol

Nice, @ me when you post video of it. By chance, you don’t have the ZL1 do you? Can’t remember if you said it was..

I’ll wait until they show it in full before judging. The concept didn’t look great to me, but it might grow on me when they put the whole thing together for production. I don’t like the grille on the X7, my neighbor has one and it looks bucktoothed.

When Chevy released the new hd Silverado images last year I thought the front end was a disaster, but the problem was really more about bad color/trim combinations that won’t be present on the trucks once they hit market. It could be that the front softens in its appearance when you get a better feel for the design.

Maybe they finally figured out their target demographic is a bunch of cunts and decided they should look the part.

They said that about the 2019 Camaro but it turns out it was just as ugly IRL too. There was no way to redeem it.

They did it an emergency refresh for 2020 because it affected sales too much. It's slightly improved, but still awkward.

Meanwhile, Ford just dropped the best looking Mustang since 1970.

I don't mind it really. Definitely not the best looking BMW. It looks pretty American like it should be called a Lazershark or something. Would drive though

i'd personally rather get an Alfa Romeo Giulia if we were talking base level luxury sedans/coupes
or the Quadrifogglio version if we're comparing to AMG or M series

I’m only giving BMW the benefit of the doubt because the new 3 series, 8 series and z4 look better in person than they did in press photos, but none of them used the bucktoothed grill, so this could still be a disaster.

No I wish lol, it's just an 2SS/RS. In a few years I'll either buy a brand new SS or a couple year old used ZL1.

Either way I want to get something I can keep long term before they stop making them. I'm leery of buying a used ZL1 though because I'm fairly certain it'll be beat to shit even with lower miles on it.

I can see rappers and athletes driving the one in the second picture.
You missed an easy joke about gigantic blinged out aftermarket kidney grilles here...

I have no idea what BMW is thinking. Everybody hated the giant Lexus predator grille, and after almost a decade of doubling down, it still only looks "OK" on a few of their cars (e.g. LC coupe).

This look is going to age like old milk.

one thing, shoutout to the Canadian YT channel StraightPipes for this recommendation:

If you're going to do the larger grill thing, can manufactorers start offsetting the license plate arrangement then?

Like i like Mazda's larger grills on the CX-5 and 7, but it would look so much cleaner w/ the plate lower right or left? i think this BMW larger grille COULD possibly be better w/ this option

Yuck. Why would you want your car to look like a shitty American car?

Bmw survived the bangle design era

this too shall pass

and whoever mentioned just get a Tesla is absolutely right

other than a super car like a Mclaren Tesla now owns the completion in every metric.
No point to these “luxury” cars anymore

We're only a step or two away from 18-wheeler sized grills on passenger vehicles at this point.

Thanks TS for pointing this out. I'm definitely not buying myself a BMW for Christmas like I previously planned.

wow lol, that really is ugly. what the hell was bmw thinking?
