For the older guys those are all solid places to start imo (along with Sam Cooke, The Temptations, The Supremes)

For a much more current band with this type of sound check out Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears.




You may have heard this second one as it was a bit of a hit for them.

1) go to Grooveshark.
2) search and play that first song you like.
3) select the 'radio' button.
4) profit.
 




 
Haha damn, looks like I know what I'm doing for the next couple hours. All these songs are great. Also I kind of forgot about Grooveshark, thanks for reminding me.
 
Even better to load up Spotify and type in Otis Redding on the radio thing. You get more skips and shit that way.

Checked out Spotify, but I guess it's not available in Canada yet.
