For sure. I didn't expect Gwiz or Gilman to do much but with Cox's draw, he should have been in the finals. His defense has regressed and he's never been an offensive dynamo.
 
Sad to see Khinchegashvili lose (should have gotten that 4), but we gotta get our first gold. Aliev is solid, but Rashidov is better.
 
God I love Gilman. Would be awesome to see him win. His whole run has been absolutely incredible.

I was a little nervous after Taylor put up all those points on him.

I really hope he moves to the tOSU regional Training center this year. I just don't see how much he could improve at Mizzu. Training with Snyder and Dlagnev full time would be great.

Going to NLWC with Varner and Cael might be better but with Taylor there I don't see it happening.
 
After losing in the NCAA Final (where he was the big favorite), Gilman was down 6-0 after one period at the Last Chance Qualifier. Now he's wrestling for gold at the world championships. Dude is one tough mofo.

Taylor should have been our guy. He really blew that 3rd match.

he blew it on the smaller stage against an injured Cox, I got no reason to believe he wouldn't also blow it at Worlds.

Taylor may have done better and maybe not but I still think Cox is the more talented wrestler with more upside. I'm glad he got more experience under his belt for his run at 2020.

I have no idea how J'den makes 86kg. He looks similar in body to me with far bigger legs yet I outweigh him by quite a bit, even when he's not sucking weight. It doesn't make sense to me.
