NBC poll: Ted Cruz overtakes Donald Trump nationally

And there's a poll that has Cruz over Trump in SC.

Its interesting, but overall irrelevant. Polls are erratic and often proved inaccurate. That NBC poll is only of a poll of 400.

We'll see how accurate the SC polls are, on Saturday.
 
Cruz would probably be least qualified of all candidates for the presidency.

This pleases me.

I want the most un-electable candidate possible produced from the primary. The only way I could be happier is if Ben Carson suddenly pulled ahead in the polls.

Then you should be pulling for Trump or Bush. They have the highest negatives in a general election. Cruz, Rubio, and Carson have the highest positives and would be projected to win against Hillary or Bernie.

lol seriously, cruz ain't gonna win shit. if conservatives are stupid enough to put him up, that's their problem. but americans in a general election won't vote for a guy that sounds like a used car salesman that just discovered selling bibles is way more profitable.
 
Is tough to have an opinion on this development. On one hand it's unfathomable to me that a significant number of people actually prefer Cruz over anybody. On the other hand, he's overtaking Donald Trump....

Have you objectively assessed your candidates? You have one candidate that is an athiest socialist, and a candidate that barks.
 
On one hand, I'm glad to see a narcissistic demagogue start to fade.

On the other, Cruz is filling in the void.

At least Trump has some reasonable positions, some that have needed discussing for a long time and he's the only one addressing them.

Republicans or Democrats this years crop of candidates, I don't think theres a single person running that I'd qualify as being Presidential. Not crazy about Hillary or Bernie as President but I'm afraid of what Trump or Cruz would do to this country.

It's a shame that McCain isn't about 8 years younger this go around, he would've actually had a decent shot of winning this election.

There was a candidate that had the same style, voting record, aliances in the media and Washington as McCain.

And that was Lindsey Graham.

the democratic candidate could be a homeless man with a raccoon skin hat and a tattoo of testicles on his face and still beat cruz. i think you are the one that doesn't understand just how repulsive that guy is to anyone that doesn't have a gun rack or a jesus bumper sticker.

but that's what happens when you do nothing but listen to conservatives all day long. it makes the world look like it all hates hillary and obama is hitler reborn.

meanwhile, the rest of us are looking at what conservatives are doing and wait for the men behind the curtains to show up and say "lol gotcha, people like this don't really exist."
