The NBA sabotages itself because of shit like the MVP award. Everyone with a brain knows its a bullshit award and mostly because of the way its voted and who gets a vote. Luka could average 40/10/10 and would probably get 2nd in voting.

Its why Ive consistently been against using those awards in discussions of greatness. We know Stephen A Smith has had a vote and so has Michael Wilbon. They both dont know shit about basketball but they're entitled to facilitate an award that is the pinnacle of the sport. It's just a joke.

The MVP debate between these generational floppers isn't close to ending.
 
No FTA, Lou Dork, Caruso, Hartenstein or Joe and Thunder are still 11.5 favorites on the road. Team is absolutely stacked.

The fact that Bron only has 4 mvps out of his 21 seasons in the league is criminal horse shit.

It’s a trash ass award I don’t even pay attention to it. It’s not even about the best performance, there’s always politics / other reasons why they give it to another guy just because..

Honestly, when all is said and done, he may go down as the best pure athlete in any sport. Dude is supposedly in his golden years, and still looks like he's 25 out there. Whatever "wall" a pro-athlete may hit as they age, he hasn't. It's insane. I care nothing for him, but reality is reality. Dude is sipping from the fountain of youth. It's crazy at how he's still playing at such a high level, and him still having a 40 point game now and then, doesn't seem unreasonable. Injuries aside, he's still bouncing around out there. It's pretty unbelievable.

Derrick Rose had a nice season in 2011, but there’s no way he was close to being better than 2011 Bron, James’s stats were also better.
