I get that Utah isnt a great place to live, especially if you’re not culturally aligned with the place, and have no interest in some of the most beautiful nature in the world.
(Nature is great but I’d never wanna live there)
But in basically every other country, with draft system in their leagues, the sportsmen just suck it up and play where they are drafted. They don’t insult the local fans who come out and financially support them to be super rich. It’s tacky AF.
It’s unbecoming for dudes who could be paid up to 1 billion over a career to act like divas and draft dodge and demand trades to get out of small markets if they don’t land in NY, TX or CA.
The league needs to put the foot down on this issue.
They leagues success / existence means that more than 4 popular states need to be part of the picture. It’s as simple as that.
