Flagg has great upside for scoring though, even if he isn't coming in as a great ball handler, its good enough. He's getting comps to Kahwi, Tatum, Pippen, and Siakam. The only guy who isn't an elite scorer there is Siakam.

I think he's going to be a bit more offensively talented Siakam. A bit more athletic, he will end up a bit more polished, probably better finishing and shooting. (which isn't a slight in anyway, Siakam is good for a #2 on a championship team, so a better version is great).

Who will be their #2 though when he enters his prime? Mavs seem to have done ok in FA over the years and Texas always seems like a draw for older players because of the tax breaks. Maybe they'll figure it out then the way they grabbed Ky to help Luka.

Last night I was a bit shocked to see Ace Bailey drop to 5th overall and the story today is coming out what was going on. Bailey canceled a dinner with the 76'ers and skipped workouts with other teams because he was tanking his own draft status because he wanted to play for Washington, N.O., or Brooklyn because he felt he could be a star in one of those cities. Word is he is not happy Utah drafted him so he may not be there for long.

Dude was tanking his own status to play for a shit team on purpose lol.

bill simmons is a retard, Derik Queen is what you want out of centers in todays game. He's got Sengun/Joker/Sabonis except he has a better handle than all of them. Not quite the length, but his play making and on ball skill is definitely on the way there. He fell in the range of Sabonis and Sengun too. On top of that, nobody with that size/skill is in next years draft as of right now.

They have a decent 3 man game with Queen/Zion/Fears on the up and up. They can run Pool as the 6th man and Murray and change up the concepts too. It's not a winning combination right now but its a solid young foundation. If Zion doesn't work out none it matters anyways.

I get that Utah isnt a great place to live, especially if you’re not culturally aligned with the place, and have no interest in some of the most beautiful nature in the world.
(Nature is great but I’d never wanna live there)

But in basically every other country, with draft system in their leagues, the sportsmen just suck it up and play where they are drafted. They don’t insult the local fans who come out and financially support them to be super rich. It’s tacky AF.

It’s unbecoming for dudes who could be paid up to 1 billion over a career to act like divas and draft dodge and demand trades to get out of small markets if they don’t land in NY, TX or CA.

The league needs to put the foot down on this issue.

The leagues success / existence means that more than 4 popular states need to be part of the picture. It’s as simple as that.
