As long as Jock-Itch has 1 ring that he got from an 8th seed, he will never be mentioned among the "Top 10" guys, who all have multiple rings.

Damn, I missed the game, but Efficiency Merchant with MVP performance and throws him in the lead.

Gamescore of 59.8 is out of this world....Doing that against DPOY winner and a quality team is ridiculous.

I don't know if I would say out of this world, it would put him 7th all time, which is a really good game. Karl Malone and Donovan Mitchell put up 60.2 and 60.8. His buddy Luka put up a 64.0

I think he's already easily in that conversation. Lot of folks do. One ring on stacked teams might be an argument against someone, not someone with a ring who carried a canchise on his back and hasn't franchised hopped.

Nobody in the top 10 all time has only 1 ring. I'm not saying he isn't hugely talented, but you can't get into the top 10 without multiple rings. At least nobody ever has.

It's all somewhat subjective as their is no official top 10 but he will easily be in a lot of pundits lists if he keeps playing at this level for a few more years. There is a gap of psychology if you never win one at all, but it doesn't take much analysis that if you won one while never having an all star, dpoy or all NBA teammate you could have gotten more playing on stacked teams.

It is what it is man, winning matters. Not the same situation but Westbrick is a good example. The guy averages triple doubles for entire seasons but nobody thinks he's the best PG of all time, in fact, he's not even top 5. We could say Jokic is one of the top Centers of all time but even then is he going to be ranked ahead of Kareem who has 6 rings? Shaq? Hakeem? I'm not sure great game stats is enough to get you there even just among Centers.

Westbrook just isn't an efficient enough player.

His career scorecard doesn't light up close to how Jokic's does even if they have one commonality of being triple-double machines. Jokic literally has some of the most elite stats in the history of the game. They are miles different in anything that goes beyond headline stats.

I'm aware the comparison between the two is not accurate. I'm saying that failure to win, or failure to win enough, will hold a player back in overall standing amongst fans. Jokic is INCREDIBLY talented, but to break into the top 10 requires rings, multiple rings. Even then, rings is not enough, Robert Horry has 7 of them but nobody thinks he's a top 10 all time guy. It requires amazing talent, and rings. Jokic has amazing talent, but 1 ring won't get him there. He has to win more championships. Like I said, I wouldn't even rank Jokic above multiple other Centers simply because they have 4, 5, and even 6 rings.

Jokic is skilled offensively, but doing this shit 30 times a game in a league with dogshit defense and teams averaging 116 points a game is laughable. It's hilarious that so many people are (rightfully) critical of SGA, but think this nonsense is adorable.

I also chuckle at people complaining about his lack of a whistle. Any team playing Shaq would have entirely fouled out in ten minutes if they actually called fouls. That's life as a big man. Shut the fuck up and deal with it. Jokic isn't some princess that needs to be protected.

Judging by the end of last night's game, his whistle is just fine.
