At least with Rodman you could count on lock down defense plus Rodman would fight the other team for every rebound and loose ball like a rabid animal.

Rodman also averaged double figures in rebounding, led the league in rebounding 7x. Green was really only elite for one season (2015-16). He had career highs in points, blocks, rebounds and 3-point percentage. He also had a really good postseason that year, the best of his career. He's been overrated since then because people saw that season and figured he was underrated before then, so they over-corrected.

I think Poole is having a tough time with his matchups in this series. Klay had moments where he looked really good.

Looney also had some good cuts to the basket.

It has to be Klay, but I don’t know who is confident that he has anything more than 1 game a series in him.

Poole just needs to keep the pace set by the starters and afford Curry his rest. Poole is not the guy to win games yet at this level.

Either way I think it’s pretty clear that the Celtics are the better team. Klay, for what we reason, is not consistently better than average anymore and they need him to be.

Looney was 1-4 and had 4 points in the game. The dirty truth is that when the Warriors play Draymond and Looney they have two guys on the court that are not a scoring threat and the Celtics exploit this sort of thing and lock down the other 3 guys. Even if they only play them one at a time, they still have a guy on the court that is relegated to "let him shoot" status. The Celtics on the other hand have a ton of shooters.

The Warriors could go all small ball, high octane offense but then they give up a considerable amount of size and that hurts them. I honestly think they are in deep trouble unless this young Celtics team just melts down and chokes. Its a bad matchup for the Warriors. Going into it I thought the Warriors would buzz saw right through them, because lets be honest, Kerr is 21-3 in Game 1's. The team that wins Game 1 wins the series 70% of the time.
