Why was LeGoat so heartbroken after JR Swish grabbed the rebound? It was better than the Showers getting the rebound.

They still had 5 minutes to play.

LeGoat will definitely go to Rockettes next year - especially after FiTP talked shit in the 1st game.
If LeRoid goes to my Rockets I’ll quit watching basketball.

He should join a big franchise that has not won a title for a while, like the Knicks, Bulls or Lakers, and win them a title. That would go a long way for him in the GOAT conversation.

If Lebron joined the Knicks i'd have no choice but to accept him as the one true GOAT

I don't think he's interested in dragging another team to the Finals and losing. He's about to be 3-6 as it is. I mean I could see Lakers because supposedly he does a lot of business in L.A. but its definitely going to have to be some team better than shit tier Cans. Plus how many seasons could he have left? 3 good ones maybe?

He has two options:

1 - Go to a good/great team and have a permanent stain on his legacy and be left out of the GOAT conversation permanently.
2 - Drag a bad big market team to the finals and probably lose.

Option 1 makes him Kevin Durant. He doesn't want that.

Option 2 probably stacks his finals' loss column, but raises recognition of his talent. Plus, he will be loved by a big market. If he went to the Bulls and took them to the finals, he would be adored even by MJ fans like me. Plus I doubt he would go alone. He would attract one or two good players to whatever team he chooses.

But most probably he will not leave the Eastern Conference and will go to a great team, like the Sixers. Too bad. I would like to see him embrace a greater challenge.

Finals losses don't hurt his legacy. He will never be GOAT because he is not clutch, is not an elite defender (anymore) and hides in the weaker Eastern Conference.

I can't see LeBron going anywhere close to Cleveland. It's either Cleveland or west coast. Going somewhere closer will be too big an insult to Cleveland fans and LeBron doesn't want to go thru that again.

I think he will go to the Sixers. The Western Conference is too tough.

Lebron won't leave the Cavs because who wants to move?

Would be the biggest insult to Cleveland fans to move so close. I would put it at very slim odds. He went back to appease them I highly doubt he wants his jersey burned again going down the street

I think his legacy problems are already fairly significant. I mean on the one hand he is and has been an incredible player, he's an all time great, but, and this is a big but to me, even compared to a guy like Magic Johnson, Magic went to the Finals 9 times going 5-4. Chips matter, especially when comparing greats to other greats. He doesn't have a lot of time left to try to get that 4th or 5th championship so he may feel his basketball biological clock ticking.

I agree, chips matter. He should aim to win one or two more, at least. But if he goes to Houston or San Antonio it’s over, he gave up being the GOAT. He is another KD.

Maybe join a mid tier East team, like the Sixers. If he goes to the West, he loses before the finals.

I would say his intellect improved as he aged but skill wise Jordan had sick skills from the start. In the 85-86 playoffs, his second season as a pro, he dropped 63 in the Boston Garden against Larry Bird. It broke Elgin Baylor's record in the playoffs of 61 points. That Celtics team won 67 games that year and was 40-1 at home. In 1987-88, his 4th season, he led the league in scoring and won defensive player of the year. He was the first player in history to do that. He averaged 35.0ppg that season. Now obviously as the Bulls added more players or players matured, his load changed and he distributed the ball more but what really sets apart his young self from say his championship self is his game I.Q..

These kiddies don't know.

Here's MJ in his 2nd season- the prime of his physical career- going for 63 with bunch of jumpers included.

Passing is really the only thing he was only "pretty good" at. He was superb at everything else.

Jordan was both the best offensive and defensive player of his era. Lebron has never been close to being a top defensive player in this league.

LeBron loses to stacked teams, let's give him the benefit of the doubt. He tries so damn hard. Yeah, he got swept in the spurs finals and choked against the Mavs. But still, his team sucked that one time, just like this year.

Jordan lost in the first round to the Celtics in a best of five. Who had three HOF starters and Walton on the bench that year. They went 40-1 at home and won the title that year. Jordan's two other best teammates in that 63 point game? Two coke heads. Fuck Jordan!!!

when Skip Bayless rightfully brings this up all the time, Shannon Sharpe always goes 'but what about the rebounds and assists Skip!' like in a desperate plea

it's never not hilarious
