Nate has lost 3 of his last 5 fights - Beating McGoat? GTFO

Nate can try and take the fight to the ground and get a sub. If not, he's getting knocked out. Nate has boxing and very good BJJ with great submissions but his takedowns aren't going to be good enough. He's hardly a boxer but he knows how to use his reach and his hands. However, he's about to fight a far superior boxer and a harder hitter (puncher) in McGregor with far better footwork and a complete striking game. Nate supposedly has a 76" wingspan and McGregor's is supposedly 74". We'll see soon enough but that isn't a very large reach advantage and Nate isn't much of an athletic specimen.
you are really good at analyzing

Last win via decision and another win against Maynard who is on a 4 losing streak...

Nate's 3 losses were to: Josh Thompson, RDA and Henderson...

He's going to be a HUGE underdog. And some of you legit think he's going to knockout McGregor?

Not a smart bet to make imho.

This is the kinda shit that gives conor fans a bad name. Among many things...

You're speculating about Conor, he could go much further, but being a world champion in any major organization at this point is out of the question. Many high level amateur and pros have given kudos to Conor's boxing ability, especially for an MMA fighter. Nate wouldn't have enough fast twitch muscle to beat a top 100 guy. He's just that slow, his shots lack pop (snap), and he's not heavy handed. His footwork just isn't there, he doesn't really understand distance well, his range control is certainly not very good and his timing isn't on Conor's level. His shot selection consists of the same old 1-2's, time and time again, like most MMA fighters. Nate doesn't even have good fundamentals, and therein lies the problem. He needs to learn how to enter and exit on angles because he squares himself up to his opponents often, including in some of your GIFs. As a result, he gets hit. What makes it worse is that none of these guys besides Johnson have decent hands (by "decent" that is for MMA).

I'm not even going to mention Nate's posture and how horrible it is. Look at Conor's and compare it to Nate's when they punch. Look at their mechanics and technique, foot positioning and so forth. There's a world of difference.
lol you really have no idea what you're watching

I never saw anyway for Conor to win the fight Nate is a much better boxer, better chin, better ground game, he is the bigger man, longer reach and he uses a southpaw stance meaning mcgregor doesn't have his usual advantages. In fact he doesn't have one thing that's an edge over Nate not one. To top it off Nate has the conditioning of world class endurance athlete. Saying that and getting in the cage with a guy like that are different. In the tougher fights in tougher divisions you start to see guys win easily over people with poor cardio. I honestly didn't see one way that Conor could win and couldn't picture it but I was very concerned about 10 days. So I made a small bet just to be able to say I knew it after the win but didn't go crazy in case Nate just was awful. His weigh in look was worrying too.

Am I missing something???

Didn't "Notorious" Nate already beat that little yapping Chihuahua once? After a 1-week "training camp"?

As much as I would like to see Nate squeeze Conor into submission forget the KO 4 career KO's in 18 fights I don't see it happening. Nate was selected for one reason he's the most beatable of all who threw their gloves into the ring and he has a strong fan support to sell tickets & ppv this fight is now a exhibition for Conor, I woild love for Nate to throw a wrench in the works but I wouldn't bet on it.
See this is how you know your not an mma fan and know nothing about the sport. Anyone with a brain could see Nate would win 10/10 times. Sucks you fell for another bandwagon....bet you also rooted for sage and Ronda. Bet you also thought weidman had a chance against Rockhold too didnt ya?

My brother was telling me he wanted to bet on Nate. I told him that if Nate had a full camp it would have been a good bet, but the 10 days notice thing and it being at WW means that we'd have no idea what kind of shape Nate would be in and that he likely would not be anywhere near 100%. While I picked Nate to win I would likely not have bet money on it and if I did I would have just put a small amount.

After he beat McGregor, I thought to myself "damn I should have told him to place the bet!"

Have you learned something about making these kinds of threads yet?

Ease up my man I was feeling bummy & bitter that day because Rafael injured his foot I wanted RDA & Rafael Cordiero to tear through Conor's fight holes. Did you miss the part where I said I hope Nate gets the submission or hoping Nate throws a wrench into the UFC's plan and I got both? Haven't you ever been glad to be wrong at some time? You think I'm down with Conor and praise Sage ....?

I would say wash your mouth out with soap, but this is more appropriate for you.

Yikes, so much cringe here. Time to pay up or start cleaning the streets, do community service.

Conner fights nothing like RDA or Benson. Josh had the fight of his night that nighy while Nate was phoning it in for whatevet reason.

None of it matters Natr has been looking for a big pay day and no doubt he will lay down for a few million. I expect this to look like Conner vs Mendes everyone coming out looking good and making a lot of money with the loser having a good excuse why he lost and still looked good. Almosy sounds like a pro wrestling much dont it? Lol

I still don't get why some people thought that Nate had no chance against Conor, he is one of the worst matchups for McGregor.

Oh and good call TS.
Nate is actually the easiest fight at 155 in the top 10 for Conor, Conor gets killed by RDA, Alvarez, Khabib, Ferguson, Pettis. Cerrone is also an easier matchup for Conor but I still see Cerrone beating him
