Nate got what he wanted since Dana mentioned how the diaz bros were hard to deal with when it came to money.

Is it really extended as in adding more fights after his next fight or do they just mean the automatic extension of time because he turned down a fight.

But why though?

Because the UFC isn't about the best fighters proving they're the best anymore. It's about loud mouths that can create controversy. Actual fighting skills be damned.

Because they offered him Khamzat and Nate ducked. So they did their part (offer a fight with the already negotiated and signed terms) and Nate didn't (show up and fight).

Probably they will do the Conor trilogy to milk them both since they don't have much fight left anyways.
