Nate Diaz has a significant chance to win

It seems everyone is forgetting that Khamzat was taking part in a Ramadan during his Burns fight, fasting is going to mess up your cardio

No he was not. He absolutely was not. You're wrong.

He's on film eating and drinking all during the day on fight week. He made it up after if he wanted to, but he was not fasting this Ramadan.

Ramadan is not just fasting. It's no water during sunlight. The only way to train at maximum during Ramadan is to become nocturnal. The only fighter I know of who does it is Belal Mohammed.

You can't seriously think Chimaev is afraid of grappling with Diaz?

I'm sorry but I really don't agree.
I htink Diaz has a 5% chance of winning and that might be generous.

Hey...it's MMA, strange stuff does happen sometimes, but I see nothing to suggest Diaz will present any real opposition to Chimaev.

Diaz has won 1 fight in the last 6 years. He barely fights really these days.

here's a visual preview of the fight, while it lasts:

No, not really.

The only out I could potentially see is if Khamzat wildly mismanages his cardiovascular output early on, and has to fight 3ish rounds on an empty tank.

I just don't see it. I see strike vs strike until a clinch or body lock + takedown. GNP without much threat of submission, sweep, etc...

Rinse and Repeat. Physicality is going to matter a lot in this one, IMO.

It's a 5 round fight and there are people who think Khamzat has bad cardio and we know Nate can go 5 rounds any time. Then there are people who think Khamzat has bad BJJ defense, which Nate has a blackbelt too. People are questioning Khamzat's striking as sloppy because of the Burns fight, Nate could pepper Khamzat all night if that were the case.

Personally I think Khamzat has good enough striking, cardio, and BJJ defense to make it look easy, but from all the people questioning him on this forum, you would think they would put money on Nate if they truly believed he just has good wrestling. Khamzat will probably make the other WWs look below average I think he's just that good and deserves a title shot.

Easy win for Nate.

I won’t be surprised, motherfuckers!

I think Khamzat is very beatable, but not by Nate. This is a squash match of epic proportions that shouldn't have been made.

Maybe Nate will pull off a submission after getting beat on for a while.

I guess with the odds, putting some throw away money on Nate isn't a bad idea.

Nate probably dies, but could pull off a submission.
