We saw the lows his brother had gotten too. With nate consistently fighting Into his late 30s hard to have confidence in his long term mental health. At least he's got money I guess. Nick didn't make the kind of money nate did, and got into debt problems nate didn't either along side constant fines. Which definitely didn't help his mental state. All went down hill when Ronda got him into drinking and partying
