My UFN 30 Bets - Post Yours! (Part II)

I don't usually hedge much, but what do you guys think I should do with this Iaquinta/Moraes parlay? I'm totally sold on Moraes, but this is one of my bigger bets of the night and it would suck if Carson was able to wrassle his way to Dec.

You guys think I should let it ride or hedge it out a bit in case the upset happens? Leaning towards letting it ride, not a fan of hedging unless of course it's after I lose.

Bet on the over so you might win both.

Didn't think that the Rettinghouse-Villa decision was that egregious. It was a pretty close fight imo, but I did score it 2 to 1 for Villa. Awesome fight though if anyone has time later on go ahead and watch it. Rettinghouse really impressed me.

Did you watch RFA last night? Possibly the worst decision I've ever seen happened to EJ Brooks. I thought it was a pretty clear 30-27 in his favor with a possible 29-28, and one judge had him losing 30-27 and another 29-28. It was ridiculous.

Yeah, I put my biggest bet of the weekend on Brooks, and influenced other(s) to as well. So you can be sure I was watching it, and commented how bad it was afterward. That's the fight which started the judging discussion I was continuing.

Brooks-Case wasn't as bad as like Jardine-Mousasi for example (scored that 29-26 Mousasi), but it was up there. Definitely one of the worst of the year. Brooks didn't do much, but what did Case do outside the 3rd round? Kick Brooks in the balls? It could have been 30-27, but it was a clear, at minimum 29-28, as a result. In that way it was reminiscent of Fukuda-Ring or Nover-Held.

Vila-Rettinghouse I didn't have anything on BTW, but I thought it was pretty evident Vila won, so much so that I stopped watching after the fight ended. Then I come back and saw Rettinghouse got it.

I see Burkman getting upset before Moraes. I guess that doesn't really answer your question.... I'd let it ride.

Let it ride. Moraes has got this. Carson isn't a bad fighter per se, but a lot of his wins are lulz. He fights the local Indiana circuit here and there, and trust me, the competition isn't there.

Thanks guys, ride or die time. I was secretly hoping these would be the answers but wanted to make sure. Moraes is a monster.

Yeah, SK, I'm a little tempted on Carl myself, dude is strong grappler, good chin, seems like the line's off. I really like Burkman, he's made me a lot of money recently, but I can't lay that much juice on him. Carl is gonna make this pretty competitive imo.

Isn't Burkman also coming off a surgery? Does anyone know about it?

Have you found a way to watch the boxing prelim matches? They started at 4pm EST, but there's a tape delay for the west coast, and I don't see the usual stream.

i can't believe how stong buscape looks. looks roided as f*ck.

and BT: i like moraes a ton. letting my bets ride on him.

This announcer guy is ridiculous. "Have a man's name you'll never forget?"

@ SenseiSeagal I'm gonna laugh when all your 1st period bets cash and then watch us all lose em in the 2nd or 3rd, lol.

3-1-3 on the 7pm games. Risked 85 to end up winning 40. Not bad for attempted blind tails.

BOL Everyone.

..and the Volkman/Buscape over cashes!!!

I'm high on Moraes too, but nobody has really tested his wrestling in WSOF. He's been facing strikers/bjj guys. Moraes is 11-4, and was finished in all 4 losses, with most of his fights coming outside a major org. So obviously there's some style which has caused him problems in the past.

Hit the over. First bet I've won since Iaquinta!

It's only boring when Volkmann is winning, not when he's losing, even if it's in boring fashion.

30-27 firmino. i knew it f meeeeeeeeee damn you 5d for pulling lines early ~~ (my own fault for not betting it before/during UFC)

Per Helwani, Lineker is going to work with Dolce going forward... staying at 125.

Does he lick his chops every time someone misses weight or what lol.

I feel your pain. It's kind of been a rough weekend for me too. At least I hit Machida ko. I only regret not investing more because it was a prop, but a pretty safe one nonetheless. Carl and Lauzon could actually help me rally to make it a good weekend, still. I'd take just one. Both are such big, but inflated dogs IMO.

not w/you at all on lauzon, JSP, but i am KINDA feelin carl at +375, BUT i passed.

all i did on WSOF (passed on firmino cause i'm an IDIOT) was 0.4u on fitch U2.5 +110 & a couple parlays of moares-gsp, moraes-gaethje, and moraes-andradesexton DEC

GL on rest of fights, gonna watch hockey and dvr the fights

Haven't been watching them, tbh. so busy today I totally forgot about them. Maybe they have a link to the stream in the pbp thread in the boxing forum, though.
