I'm 80% sure the books have an agreement with wwe president... I mean why wouldn't they? It's a win/win situation... the books make money, and they pay vince money.

But then you could always bet on the favourite and never lose

Well that would depend on which fighter the books have more action on... sometimes the books need the dogs to come through... I mean, let's say everyone think wrestler A is going to win 100%, and his line is -500 .... a lot of people are going to bet on him even if he's -500... in that case, they could script the upset and make the books(and wwe some money)... but yeah, I'd be curious to know the truth... but Vince Machmahon is a smart buisness man, I'd be surprised if he didn't have some sort of agreement with the books. I mean, it's like betting on the ending of a movie for fuck's sake....Imagine the line on the action hero saving the world at -1000 lol, of course the books and the movie makers are going to have some sort of a win/win deal

I had a very bad day yesterday. Between Jimmo's knee, Craig's gameplan, Goddard's incompetence, and Burkman's lack of talent, I think i dropped over 7 units.

5dimes
+$579 (+$638 last bets from sunday came in)

SBG
+$61.67

Sportsbook
+$125.41

Unibet
+ 84.68 EUR ------> + $116.86
================
Net profit +$941.94

Had 2 pretty good consecutive weeks. But also another robbery and a fair amount of attrition from non-UFC bets. I was on Guillard and it would've been another $600 additional or so profit for me. Still have some sunday bets going on.

I don't think highly of Lil Nog. He looked decent against Rashad, but I think that was more because Rashad looked awful than anything else. Gus is better everywhere except maybe BJJ, but I don't see Nog threatening him there regardless. He has great TDD, but that doesn't matter when Gus won't be shooting for takedowns.

yea. i love me some nog's, but lilnog beating gustaf seems virtually impossible right now.

hockey sunday: meh.

wanted to stab at SJ or tampa (both close to even $) but both played last night & both playing backups. total pass on the 5 games. day off from betting, i guess

Damn, Midgard....

Very well done, my friend. And not sure whether to appreciate you for posting your BR, or feel bitter towards you about it....

Feeling serious BR envy over here, atm.... :icon_lol::icon_lol::icon_lol:

Thanks to rallying with a final AB grand slam thanks to Carl, I actually won on the weekend.....by a dollar (from $143 risk).

Would have been a solid win of $61 if not for the Brooks robbery.

NFL

Pissed I lost Detroit -3.5 but that was a hell of a game. I should have just bet Detroit straight.

NFL
The cowboys are hot garbage. Never gonna win till Jerry Jones sells the team. No way they should have lost that game

NFL

Unbelievable...Cowboys winning would have won me 8u off a sweet parlay.

Actually still got around 1k pending bets. :icon_twis

But just 2 UFN's ago (the Bader/Tex one with the brazillians) I got blasted with a pretty big loss, around $1800. Took me 5 weeks or so to win that all back. But I'm fully recovered and then some. Little less than 7k profit on 5dimes so far this year.

And I was down close to $400 before going into this weekend's UFN. And mid-way through UFN 30 down around $1300 total. But I usually have parlays linked with the main fight so I don't know how well I've done until the whole night is over. Regularly go through some kerrrazy upswings.

Looking ahead:

  • Nov. 2nd - What do you expect Curran/Straus line to be?
  • Nov. 6th - For UFN 31, could Larken be a lock against Camozzi? Camozzi has a good chin though and his striking is pretty good, will it go the distance?

Larkin via Decision and fight goes to decision (if you want to be extra safe) imo are the best bets for that fight. Both guys have great chins and great TDD aswell. Neither man really carry the kind of power or volume they would need to get a stoppage over each other imo. Larkin is much more technical and as long as he doesn't get inactive during the fight he should take this fight comfortably.
