Surely everyone hates Davis!!
Oh boy.
Online gambling has returned to the US with the launch of the first legal, real money poker site. Earlier today, gambling company Ultimate Gaming opened its virtual doors to the citizens of Nevada, offering them the chance to legally play poker online for the first time in more than two years. Today's launch comes just two months after state regulators passed a bill allowing Nevada citizens to play across borders without the need for federal gambling legislation.
I'm playing in a 5k Guarunteed MTT right now. I bought into it using only the poker points I've made from grinding 25NL.
How'd it go?
This was a while back, but I ran JJ into QQ when the blinds started getting huge. He was a huge stack that was very active.
Damn blinds. Somehow it always feels like you get more play with your stack live than online, even if that's completely not true.
I'm still following your tale. Good stuff. Years back I had a grand to my name, and another grand on a poker site from dicking around. I had just quit my job due to being a complete fuckup and putting myself inside the regional manager's girlfriend, and not wanting to deal with the fallout along with the shitty job itself. So I just said, fuck off I'm a poker pro now. lol.
It worked out for me and eventually the fed crackdowns and other factors with my family moved me away from the game, but it was great while it lasted. Continued good luck dude.
It's a good sign. Hopefully when the other states see how it's going and how much money is being made they will jump on board. They already legalized weed here in Colorado, so why not online gambling too?
Funny that the "land of the free" cannot even gamble online. :icon_lol:
You still haven't posted any hands.
Where did you want me to post them again?
