I put powdered turmeric and ground ginger in my dog's dry food (good anti-inflam), with a bit of warm water and stir it up like I'm making a meal for myself. She freaking loves it.

I mix in all kinds of meats at different times too, but she loves it regardless.

For all you know the turmeric and ginger, could be like crack cocaine to dogs......... Be careful what you put in your dog's food.

It's good for them, just have to put in the right amounts based on weight. It adds flavor my dog loves, could help OP's issue.

So I have two Pomsky's. One looks more like a Pom, the other looks more like a husky. Anyway, i make them food by cooking boneless skinless chicken leg meat i get from RD for $1.50/lb and Sweet potatoes i roast. I add Blue Buffalo dry food that i puree in a food processor. They seem to love this. But the problem lies when i run out and give them there dry food. The one dog eats it, but the other refuses to eat it. Its been 4 days and it pisses me off this dog is starving itself. I feel bad for the other dog because i am forcing it to eat the dry food because i refuse to make another batch till this other dog eats its damn dry food. This is expensive $90 a bag dog food, it aint cheap.

I ended up making some homemade chicken stock/gravy and added that to the dry dog food. She ate it. But she only ate till she felt "content" She is normally a pig and will eat as much "good food" you put her her bowl.

Btw, its not her teeth, she still chews her dog bones and pig ears. And she still begs for people food. She is just gotten extremely picky over the last few months because i made a huge batch of homemade dog food that we portioned and froze. And my wife got lazy and wasn't mixing it with the dry food.

If you insist on keeping them on dry food maybe try a different brand? Maybe the one you are using sucks. Have you tried eating it?

Blue Buffalo is kinda a shitty brand tbh. Yes they market as if they’re high end but I remember when I worked at the pet store we often got updates that this n that of theirs was recalled, sick dogs here and there, poor ingredients used in the food, etc. not once did I ever recommend it.
