Limelight My big stupid hype trains thread.

@Hellowhosthat people are saying Makoto Takahashi signed a multi fight deal with Rizin, I hope it's not true. On a better note, Azats in Denver right now, I think he's preparing for a UFC fight or the contender series.

Turned down that Bellator money to sign with the UFC.

I never said I signed to UFC. I said that the contract was signed (before #ufcParis ) and that until I fight I'm not officially in the UFC so I can negotiate with other big organizations. You have to listen well when I speak.

This makes no sense, he signed a contract but until he actually fights he can still negotiate with other promotions? Am I missing something?

It actually sounds like he is not signing with the UFC.

He is right, he signs a UFC contract now, he is basically stuck to them until he losses enough for them to throw him away. WW is a much harder division then MW to get to the top like Pereira did and we have seen all the kickboxers like Wilnis and the others lose on regional MMA scene.

I'd heard it was only a one fight deal. I guess we'll find out.

Oh fuck, there's another one.

Yes this is Raul's brother, yes he can grapple, yes he pushes a pace, yes he looks like quite the prospect just like his little brother.

Really impressed that the only time in this fight he slightly fucked up he used it for an awesome armbar entry and then when his opponent defended that he turned it into a sweet triangle and then another armbar from there. So a Rosas who's got the Rosas top pressure and also a dangerous bottom game.

Probably gonna be joining his brother in the UFC.

Probably two of the top 10 best Flyweights they could sign in the world for the UFC. Really the big signings left from Kazakhstan are Magomed Kabardiev who is just waiting on a visa and Bekzat Almakhan, there's others worth signing but those are the big ones for me considering age and records.

Look I'm gonna honest here. How grabby decisiony are they? Because I can't excited by guys like that. Shavkat does it all. Most of them.dont.

@Hellowhosthat

Seem like your boy got signed

And he's going to Lightweight apparently. I honestly don't think he'd do that well at 170lbs in the UFC, like maybe top 15 but he lacks some ability to impose his game and his striking is awfully mediocre. 155lbs feels like a smart move, the physical advantages will help him force his fight. Gotta get that cardio in check though.

Pretty disappointed that Melissa Dixon missed weight and the fight was cancelled.

@Hellowhosthat Have you seen Yuji fight?

This kid ran through a pretty solid Japanese regional scene vet in his MMA debut. Its worth watching to see how he progresses. It looks like he moved to the states to train at Kill Cliff.
