Limelight My big stupid hype trains thread.

You think he beats Haratyk? I am obligated to say he loses because of nationalist fervor.

Yeah, I think it's a smart fight for Haratyk to take though. If he wins he probably gets a go in the UFC (assuming he passes USADA, but I actually think maybe he will considering he's gone this route rather than KSW). I just think Abdoul is improving massive amounts from fight to fight and his grappling is just next level now.

Not much going on this week, since last time I did rankings UFC signed #1 MW Shara Bullet, #6 MW Christian Leroy Duncan and #19 LW Francisco Prado.

We've got LFA on Friday (Fight Pass)

FLW - Yuma Horiuchi (25/Japan/10-5) looks to get the LFA title against Felipe Bunes (12-6)

Something called Khan Fight on Saturday (Youtube)

WW - Aleksandr Vasiliev (22/Russia/9-1-1) against Emran Hafizoglu (12-1)
LHW - #7 Nikolay Kovalenko (Russia/7-0) against Abdulrakhman Yakhayev (3-0)
BW - The amazingly named Furkan Koc (Turkey/2-0) against Pavel Birmistrov (5-2)

Promotion - RIZIN
Team - NTG
Record : 4-0

I'm a bit late with this one but I just caught up with the NYE show and I've got to give Tafa some love because he just absolutely smashed the shit out of Sudario. If people stand with him they're going to be trouble, really impressive power, accuracy and killer instinct. This fight also showed me just how tough Kevin Fitial must be to be able to withstand more than a round of this stuff. Looks better than his brother to me.

Against Mitsuro Brandon Tajima

Tafa seems better built for 205lbs, IMO. But yeah seems better than his brother who I barely rate at all!

Jung Young Lee - 26 (South Korea) 8-1 Featherweight is on your list though, I do not see the others from Road to UFC on your list.

A lot of new signings...
Jeka Saragih, Anshul Jubli, Yi Zha, Toshiomi Kazama, Rinya Nakamura,
Hyun Sung Park, Seung Guk Choi, Francisco Prado, Melquizael Costa

Yeah, I left him on as he was on before. I would have put Rinya on, but I didn't catch a full fight of his until he was already on Road to UFC (they were tough to find) and at that point it felt like it would be cheating.

If you cares Shamil Musaev won back in December Battle Of Champions 14 tournament. I guess Sherdog considers it as a fights under custom rules.

Mitch McKee seems like a legit prospect. Big KO at LFA 150.

As Ares mentioned, Mitch indeed looked outstanding on the last LFA show. Showcasing his Div 1 wrestling in a dominant first round before faking a level change into a big KO in the second. I think anytime a wrestler shows they can mix up level changes and top control with genuine power once they have their opponent faked out shows a fuckload of potential.
